Here's this group's stance and why they are opposing this tax:

“Government has to learn to spend the dollars they have very efficiently because the fact is they’re trying to take more money out of the wallets of working families. It’s going to affect people’s budgets...
...Michigan residents have been paying for first-class roads for 20 years and politicians haven’t delivered.”

Now, Bob, who doesn't even live in Grand Rapids, let alone pay a single cent by way of taxes here, can certainly play political theater and fling himself on the ground in full whiny, spit-flying tantrum like he always does, but then again, as a non-contributor to the community, he can afford to.

The fact is this group has a point, one that a moron like Bob who doesn't pay GR taxes is too ignorant to understand. The taxpayers of this city have ALREADY been for years paying premium to see that our roads our well-maintained, yet the city has FAILED to utilize that money efficiently and is now simply doing what government does best, demand the working class dole out more to make up for waste and lack of efficiency.

If it were as simple as giving more in taxes and being assured our roads would be well-maintained, I doubt any of we taxpayers would have a problem. BUT, we've been doing so for years, and the result is what we currently see, roads that are almost impassable.

At some point you have to stop just demanding working, contributing taxpayers give more and more, while not seeing a solution to that which you are demanding money to solve.

<quoted text>Since you forgot about Jennifer Grandholm and your alter ego, pippy, conveniently forgets anytime a Democrat runs anything the taxes AND prices go up, perhaps you would like to tell us where the monies went from the gas taxes which were raised and were supposed to go for the roads went??? Oh never mind, that would mean you and your alter ego would have to admit that someone other than a Republican screwed the taxpayers and everyone here knows you two won't admit that at any time.
If we're required to stop mentioning the village idiot's name from Texas, don't you think its about time you start taking credit for the One Term Nerd?

You haven't stopped mentioning George Bush's name in 5 years, so don't you think it's about time you quit whining about us mentioning the huge mess that Jennifer left this state in? And how about you start giving Rick Snyder the credit for a balanced budget each year during his term AND it being done early with no threat of government shut down????

You're right Bob, it's all the "nerd's" fault. Everything regarding taxes, misuse and otherwise, is all Snyder's fault and now we can just move back to the war crimes trial of Bush and Cheney!

Perhaps Michelle Malkin hasn't explained it to you yet, but the One Term Nerd is pushing for increased spending on roads and infrastructure......

Oh go spout your stupid drivel elsewhere pippy. What you put out here is sheer stupidity and will never improve. It's really too bad that Bob's alter ego couldn't have been more intelligent instead of you.

Love making you look stupid Edna -- You're easy. It must be hard for you to get along as there's no fixing stupid. You're stuck with it and you can't get a disability because of it either. Cheers.

The only one looking stupid is you there pippy and you would be totally correct, you can't fix it even with duct tape. As for the disability comment, did Mommy's disability get cancelled when they found out she was keeping you?

We're still waiting on the proof that state and local governments haven't spent their road money correctly.......

Still waiting to hear an explanation that costs for maintaining roads hasn't gone up either.......

Funny........ What stats would those be?

Can't be the voters, 66% of them voted for it.

Can't be the One Term Nerd, he liked it too.

Maybe we should just wait to ask Dingo -or- Oneal -or- whatever name he might use when he is done pouting this time.

LMAO!!!

"Can't be the voters, 66% of them voted for it." Says bobby of the "Master's Degree". Apparently he missed the fact that 13.7% of the population of Grand Rapids who could actually vote bothered to turn out which is exactly what King George and his sidekicks were banking on. No, I don't live in GR and won't. But then, neither does Bob so what he thinks is truly irrelevant, like most of his opinion.s

It's no wonder that you failed at your bookkeeping job......

The majority of those who took the time to vote decided they wanted the tax extension. The ones who didn't vote aren't included by their own inaction.

You don't live there, and neither do I. Neither do the Koch Bros or the AFP.

What's Your F'ng Point?
