Although Hannity is right on a lot of issues, he isn't really a good debater.

I don't think this was a smack down. But Ventura had some good points. I wonder what would happen if it went for the whole hour?

Hannity cut the interview off, Ventura wanted to keep going.

Hannity wanted to be waterboarded for charity.
Let Jesse do it.

Yes Jesse did have some good points but I suspect that he has an axe to grind with the GOP. Didn't get the respect he thought he deserved from them when he was in office? I always liked him but was disappointed with the GW bashing. I will always support the GOP but I would like to see another party started that understands the bigger picture. Washington is broken. Corrupt, power hungry, greedy, bad politician on BOTH sides. I'd like to think that there are good sensible liberals who are also disgusted with the state of affairs and can admit the corruption of their own party.

That was excellent on many levels. First of all Ventura went in there loaded for bear, he was not going to let Hannity do his usual slap down/shout down when he hears something he disagrees with. Second he was ready with facts for his Bush bashing and ready to respond to Hannity's lies about Bush. (Hannity is a lying sack of poop, for instance Bush did not inherit a recession, that is made up crap.)

All righty then ... you would be one who can not admit the corruption of your own party.

GR Pete is a party hack, not a thinker. Whatever the party says to parrot, he will parrot. Whenever the party says to keep his mouth shut, he keeps his mouth shut.

That's all you need to know.

I didnt think it was much of a "slap down"
I wouldnt say either one of them had any upper hand in that interview.
I do get sick of Hannity always interupting people all the time. Seems he doesnt let people finish what they are trying to say, gets annoying to me!

Wow, Jesse was coming right back at him. Ha!

Sean was trying to speak over him- and Jesse wasn't having-- none of that garbage. I wish this beating - went on for another hour. Sean would have wet himself.

That's exactly what I thought. It was a fun exchange and I love Ventura (except when he's giving credence to 9/11-truthers), but I wouldn't say either man "won" the verbal fight.

Yeah right, I have been calling for an investigation into torture even if Pelosi goes down with Cheney, how Dem butt kissing is that, lets get it on and hang all of them that enabled torture.

I'd like to see them go for a while, maybe an hour, or at least a half hour, but as long as they dont keep interrupting each other.
I'd really like to hear both of their opions. But somehow, I just dont know how a "pro" wrestler gets to be a pollitical expert.
Just like Bill O'riely on fox, wasnt he a talk show or game show host before?
Now he's some sort of expert on everything!
I think he's worse than Hannity is when he's interviewing people!
Always butting in, and never lets anyone finish what they are saying!

Jesse was the Govenor of Minnesota, that's how all this started. At the time, it seemed a little crazy but -- hey, I don't live there.

Jesse's been on a lot of shows lately, even Larry King. Who is that conspiracy guy -- is it Alex Jones? Someone sent me several links - but, I don't need to have the CIA -pay me a visit or tap my phone, so I didn't watch them.

You know if torturing one terrorist/raghead saves american lives, then I say do it. After seeing what they put on the net for us to see, I have no qualms about making them suffer. I know everyone is going to say "we need to be better than them." Screw that.
All our enemies know we don't torture and actually treat our prisoners better than we have our soldiers. Why do you think the Germans were surrendering to us and fighting to the death against the Russians? I know for a fact to GRPete, that if any of your family members were killed by said terroists, you would want 10 min alone with them. Wouldn't that be a form of torture? I have been over there, I have seen what those bastards can/will do, so expect no sympathy from me when we break their fingers or waterboard them.
