Congrats to Suzanne! I had no idea that Helen Thomas was her Aunt. Too bad. Helen is not a journalist, she is a liberal tool, by her own definition.

Oh please, Suzanne should have been off the air years ago. After Larry Nienhaus was let go, I took an informal poll and NONE of the people I polled wnated Susie in her spot. All of then thought she was ghastly and undeserving to be an anchorwoman; they would have preferred Larry to Susie any day. Now, my survey was not unbiased; but I surveyed people all over my map - sales clerks, businesspeople, housewives, etc. - and the answer was undeniably that she is a detriment to the channel and that new faces would be SO welcome. Susie, you're a good newsperson, but the general public is not happy to see you on their TV screen.

Helen is the cat fish of journalism.

"I think its a tragedy that newspapers are falling apart and going out of business, but I think you cannot have a democracy without an informed people and that means good reporters doing the footwork," Thomas said.

They are failing precisely because of SCUM like Helen Thomas.

How are people "informed" when they are fed liberal lies while you have Jeff Immelt (Obama advisor and TARP recipient) and Jeff Zucker telling their on-air talent to "quit the Obama bashing or else"!

As a woman, I am proud of the accomplishments of Suzanne Geha. She is an inspiration to other women, and if you don't care for how she looks and delivers the news, there are other stations you can watch. I also didn't realize Helen was her aunt, but I doubt that is the only reason she has attained the success she has. I don't know Suzanne personally, but I do know others who know her from church and she's a wonderful kindhearted woman who is a successful trailblazer, not just for women in broadcasting, but for women in general. Way to go, Suzanne!

What about her brother Craig, does he get to win anything. After all, he's just as good as she is. Just because he works in another state shouldn't take away from that.

Congrats to Suzy and Helen. Reporting is not as it used to be...Suzy is not one of my favorite reporters but it is great to get the recognition.

Does anyone remember Woodtv from even 20 years ago? A lot of people have come and gone from the evening broacast notably Warren Reynolds.

Helen Thomas is fun to watch as she sticks it to both Democratic and Republican administrations.

Congratulations Suzanne on the Woman of Achievement and Courage award. I remember when you first started anchoring the evening news and seeing your reports through all the changes with news broadcasts over the last thirty years. I for one am still glad to see you on air and keeping us informed. Thank you!

Helen Thomas is like the crazy aunt who lives in the basement. She is a nut job. She doesn't stick it the liberals, she coddles the libs always has. Why do you think that Helen is in the Front Row in the White House press corp room when she works for some 3rd rate rag? Come on.
