Finally! My father has cancer, and one of the things he complained about is that he never wants to eat. Reports from states that already allow medical marijuana say that its use helps patients regain some of their appetite.

This will be helpful to ONLY those who need it and use it correctly. How can the CDC control this fully? I hope it works.

Well it's about stinkin' time! This will be beneficially for so many seriously ill people. And like other forms of meds, it may not work for everyone, but at least now there is one more option!

I am all for the use of pot (or as the older folks call it: marijuana) for medical use. If one has ever tried it, one would know that there are many ways that pot can be beneficial. If one has not ever tried pot then it is easy to be critical of it because, unfortunately it is considered a drug. I would say to anyone that is constantly feeling ill, sore or undergoing chemo to try it… it could change your life.

I think that the idea of medical marijuana is good. But i dont think that they will be able to control the amount of pot that people are going to grow. So many people will be able to get away with it now. I attend college and about 70% of the kids i know have tried it, and about 50% smoke on a daily bases. Because of this proposal winning they will be able to get it easier now and possibly even grow it by themselves. I think there needs to be more restrictions on it than what they proposed.

I think this is great, and would rather see this than some of the drugs they are using.

Fairly sure it will help your father like it's helped others already. And with little fear of being arrested unless the Feds decide to show their power.

The "older folks" call it marijuana because that is the name for it. It is people like you that abuse this drug and thus call it "pot".
