I'm sure that happens all the time. Can you pull one up that happened more recently? How many kids died from laced MJ anyway? I bet it's not even close.

When you come up with a formula for 100% failsafe protection, make sure you let the CDC know. In the mean time, I have to wonder why our government, who cares oh, so much, for the citizens of this country haven't sounded the alarm about this new threat? They seem to know about if if they're trying to find funding to research an antibiotic that it's not resistant to. Guess they prefer letting people die over suggesting that maybe they try abstaining, much like you.
I am sure you being sarcastic about the government caring, they fact is a government cant care and does not care, it cant care because it is impossible for a thing to care about anything, even in your sentence you wrote "who" how can a government be a who when it is not possible. And there lies the problem to many people thinking the government is human.

Got a new name I see huh crackpipe?

So crackpipe tell us how you know that more children die from "laced MJ" that by gun. OR was your remark just another of your baseless opinions. Stand up little man and be heard.

While you're researching that make sure you include how many deaths by gun have occurred this year in the U.S., accidental or otherwise, and how many of those deaths were children or other members of households where guns were kept for so called 'self-protection'. Also include all the dumb gun owners who died as a result of their own guns, either 'accidentally', by suicide, or at the hands of another family member or acquaintance.

13-year old Florida Boy Shoots 6-year old in the chest.

"Her shirt was bloody, and you could see through a piece of gauze that she had a hole in her chest above the heart," said Latourrette, who has two young daughters. "Her eyes were wide open in a blank stare, like she was in shock. I'll never forget that look."

According to the Children's Defense Fund, one-third of all households with children younger than 18 have a gun, and more than 40 percent of gun-owning households with children store their guns unlocked.

The fund also reported that 22 percent of children with gun-owning parents handled guns in their homes without their parents' knowledge.

Consider those statistics, the minimal amount of childhood deaths that occur by gun accidents begs the question, if you're so concerned about kids' safety, why aren't you focusing on higher statistical causes?

On any given day nearly 700 children are injured in auto accidents. Over 250,000 annually. Around 2,000 die from their injuries.

An estimated 5,000 children ages 14 and under are hospitalized due to unintentional drowning-related incidents each year; 15 percent die.

There are on average 1.2 million abortions performed in the USA every year.

It's ridiculously hypocritical, isn't it. Actually it's mentally sick. The liberal feigning of outrage over a child shot by a gun, meanwhile actively approving and fighting for the killing of 1.2 million infants per year in America alone. It's obvious these sick bastards value life only by how their political agenda is benefitted.

And now these same unbelievable nutjobs are in control of our healthcare system. How much value do you think someone who supports the snipping of infants spinal cords (and subsequent shoebox disposal of the tiny corpses) will have for you when you no longer serve a productive role in society?

Oh, the outrage when someone dies by an "evil" gun ... and oh, the silence otherwise.

Death panels will come..... Insurance companies are now changing prescriptions on people to go to cheaper less effective drugs....... Diabetics are losing insulin pens in favor of the old vial methods.... All because of the failed leadership of the Democrats and Progressives....... I just hate those commercials that have medical devices that the senior actor says it is free....... No it's not..... You and I pay for that as do our kids...... I am all for helping but we are being ripped off.....

"Free" to a progressive merely refers to the government taking one person's personal property and giving it to another based on a set of loose levels of wealth.

Once people who hold that mentality have control of our health care system - in essence, our bodies - we'll see a slow, steady decrease in innovation, technology and advances in equipment and medicine. We'll see more advice for grandma to "just take the pain pill", as Obama said in 2008, as opposed to wasting the collective resources to save the life of someone who no longer contributes to society in any tangible way.

These are the same people who support on average 1.2 million murders of infants each year. In every way, life to a progressive is simply a drain on limited resources and something that they should have the ability to end or control from cradle to grave.

These people are dangerous and void of morality.

Correction:... something that they should have the ability to end or control from WOMB to grave, and in some cases the left would like to control our belief in life after death as well.

Amazing level of sick arrogance and hypocrisy. We see that even in threads like this, where tragic accidents of children are hijacked to forward a political agenda by sick bastards who otherwise have no problem in the deaths of infants at the hands of scissor-wielding murderers.

If there were something to the original topic I'd stick with it, but bringing up the few deaths of kids via gun by someone who supports a party that otherwise has no problem killing 1.2 million infants per year is hardly debate-worthy - it's just liberal.

Deflection man:

First of all I will dispute your figures on the number of abortions performed. And if that number is anywhere close to being accurate, how many are spontaneous, or occur within a very short time after conception, or performed to protect the mother's life. But since you seem to be stuck on this number and impute that whatever number there are its all because of the liberal agenda (you're wrong again there), while strutting around on Topix all proud with your chest all puffed out in glee because you found these stats, have you then also volunteered to raise these unwanted babies brought into the world if abortion is ever made unlawful? Moreover,if abortion is made unlawful there will still be untold numbers of them performed anyway (probably in the tens or hundreds of thousands) each year in back alleys, bathrooms or where ever else imaginable in conditions far less palatable? You'll never be able to change that. Still repugnant to you? Then ow about jumping up and down to outlaw birth control too? You and Rush could hold hands and jump and down together. You too make a good pair. F'g hypocrites through and through

Lets see some more of your fake distaste or abhorence. I suppose you pray everyday over all of this, huh?

Thousands of NEEDLESS gun deaths and injuries every year to children and teens, i.e. homicides, suicides and accidents are small numbers to you?

I see you strutting around all proud of yourself that you can make these comparisons. May you leave one round in the chamber and it be designated as special for your use to take off the top of your head or that of your loved one. If I'm lucky enough to read that that round found completed its mission, I'll jump and down and celebrate.

Talk about ignorant! Those numbers are soley medically induced abortions, not spontaneous miscarriages and very few are performed to save the mother's life. The number one reason given for wanting an abortion is that the pregnancy is 'incovenient'. Yup...that's a great reason to kill a baby.
You want to dispute those numbers? Put up a link that says otherwise.
