There are absolutes when it comes to children and guns.
I believe this to be a parental failure to teach their children those absolutes...sad story here...

Its also about NRA influence in making these deadly weapons available to children. This one involves a 5 year old who killed his 2 year old sister with a "kid" rifle.

The gun companies want to sell to anyone who has a pulse. Kids, convicts, mentally ill, violent criminals, ect. The gun culture in this country is killing us, literally. The parents of this child need to be behind bars but they won't be, the NRA and the gun companies will make victims of the parents. Well the parents can now live with a fact that their child is dead and carry that weight for the rest of their lives, all so they could be a part of America's gun culture. Was it worth it?

There was another gun death in Kentucky earlier this month where a child got hold of his father's loaded handgun& shot & killed himself or another sibling while his dumb father, an off-duty police officer, was having a gun show in his home. More credence to Kellerman's studies that guns in households increase risks dramatically that the gun owner or a family member will be killed by a gun kept in the home for protection.

I don't know...... More are killed during abortion...... Plenty of families (the ones that don't kill in the womb)have guns around and don't have problems with the kids mishandling them.......

How about if 8-10 of these unwanted babies are dropped off on your porch for you to raise, feed, clothe, care for, educate?

Yea, much better to tackle peoples' lack of self-discipline by just killing the problem, even if it's a life.

Once again, liberals pretend to care about life when it suits their agenda - such as the death of a child by gun - but have no problem whatsoever offing babies when they are an inconvenience.

I don't suppose your internet hot sauce business will be sufficient to raise those unwanted kids you're so concerned about so I' m sure you'll be in line asking for welfare.

You oppose abortion so put your money where your big nose is, stand up with your self ritous & virtue, hang a sign in your front yard announcing you'll take in unwanted babies because you want to raise them. You don't like that, then shut your big mouth.

Like i said a*hole, you want to be all self riteous & walk around with your phoney lofty ideals & virtuosity, then put your money where your big nose is & take them in.
You'll change your silly little tune ...

The title of this thread does not have any thing to do with abortion but it seems the discussion has gone in that direction.
I, for one, am on the fence regarding this issue. There are legitimate questions we should ask and address going foreward.
On one hand I hear lots of opposition to abortion but do not hear from those same folks how we as a society are going to address all the issues involved...and there are many issues.
On the other hand, taking away the right to abort because of rape or incest seems unfair also.
Not allowing women the choice of condoms or birth control also seems wrong. Why would anyone deny them that right?

Oh well...Wiggley ducks as the mud slinging begins.

Good morning Batch...I agree however...it seems the safety training standards have been ignored.
All of my children have commented that they were in a situation where someone brought out a gun to show off (or whatever) and they all thanked me for impressing upon them gun safety when the situation arose. They've even said they had to teach the gun owner a few things...
