Hopefully, it can happen peacefully without any violence.
You probably agree....but, longterm, that is likely the easiest solution, and they are trying to do it by a vote....

<quoted text> No, but it need'nt entail a bluff....I'd let the EU and those closest to him proceed in their own manner.....
The post I was responding to asked if we had a Saber to rattle...Sounds like you agree ...we did not have a proactive card to play...nothing we say or do would cause Putin to think twice...The EU will put sanctions of some sort in place...but the EU doesn't have much political will and i suspect a very low pain threshold.... Thus whatever the EU does is apt to lack the bite needed to influence events
We mentioned this before Blue...Like a Jr. league Hitler Putin could keep a 'nice' facade up for long enough to put on a good show with his olympics...buying him cover for the aggression he had been planning.

Yeah, i think also, with the surrounding organized crime powers, he has entrenched himself with.....he is much like a refined version of the older hamhanded, Soviet leaders......Separation of Crimea or more of eastern Ukraine, may be in the offing....I believe Putin knows his limitations, something Hitler lacked.....

Up until that last 1\2 sentence I was agreeing 100%. Hitler takes over in 1933. It wasn't until 1938... five years... when he took Sudetenland. He took his time... a small aggression leads to a slightly larger one... eventually to 9\1\1939. That wasn't an impulsive rush. But rather a calculated attempt to take territory. In August of '39 Hitler still felt the French and English would abandon the Poles...and not declare war on Germany.
Put Putin into Hitler's timeline and he is in 1935 reclaiming land and his discretion unproven
