I would have to agree with you on wanting a B business! I spent over six years in amway. But that's not where I found a TRUE b business. Amway had all the right ideas. Internet marketing, products. But when the prices are not competive enough to compete with the realistic market, they became a buyers club. You surely could not call they a wholesale club. Because even after you paid distributor cost, you were paying more than you would have a wal-mart.
Yes if you could build to the point where you were Platinum or higher and you could start earning from a totally seperate business. THE TOOL SYSTEM! That is where most of the Diamonds got RICH from. NOT AMWAY OR Q. The system is the money maker. That is why the TEAM leaders do not want to give it up. Market America was created so the average person could make a six figure income without a second pay check from a tools system.
Don't get me wrong, The books and tapes, Would make a great boot camp for network marketers. Trust me, That is where I learned to believ in myself and not my upline Diamond.
If your really interested in something realistic, something that is not driven by recruiting only. This company is going into it's 16th year and we have been with since 1995. Went full time with them in 1997. The rest is history!!

If you would check creditable resources, like the Federal Trade Commission, you would see that quixtar is not a pyramid and the FTC uses quixtar as the business model for other networking businesses. If being brainwashed is believing in God and celebrating that and saying the Pledge of Allegience before every meeting, supporting your country, and hundreds of people being saved at every major conference regardless of what religion they may be...then I proudlyconsidered my self brainwashed!!! Check with creditable resources before you check with your family, friends and distant cousin GOOGLE. Most people who did not succeed in the Quixtar business did not do the work that it takes!! It's not get rich quick and it takes effort as we say, not work!!

Lisa, its obvious that you don't know what is going on. This process was set in action because of the distributors trying to hold the Amway corporation to some level of integrity. The action in California that started everything was essentially a request to leave the Amway/Quixtar business.
History lesson for the uninformed! The action in CA was set in motion when a certain accredited Founders Diamond whom I will simply call Chuck, decided to sample his personal trainers personal product ;) then when he couldnt face the music in front of his group he decided to plug into TEAM where he could be away from the scrutiny. Now, cue TEAM and its underhanded "dont tell 'em its Quixtar" tactics. When you put two sets of CHEATERS in a room together, what do you get? TERMINATED, thats what! Now when a leader cant lead his own marriage, then why should we believe what he writes in his "POOR me" blog? Thats right. We shouldnt! Now, as my non cheating daddy always taught me. Carry on!

Quixtar/Scamway is a scam. Plain and simple. It is a pyramid scheme that has managed to stay just barely legal by large donations to republican officials. The overwhelming vast majority of of people who get into Quixtar/Scamway end up losing money....and they lose it fast. Scamway/Quixtar employs cheesy motivational speakers and shameless religious overtones in an effort to reassure it's victims.
The facts speak for themselves. Just ask this guy to show his tax statement to prove how rich he has become from Quixtar/Scamway. You can bet that he'll have some excuses, but no proof of great riches.

Bill Gates invested 240 million dollars of his own money in quixtar. Brig Hart and several others blame the corporation for their termination. There is always some excuse for something that happened on the terminated persons behalf. An excuse is the skin of the truth stuffed with a lie. If you rip people off in business you bet your contract will be terminated. Prudential Insurance shut down a whole division and terminated hundreds of people. It's called guilt by association. Now the terminated ones in Quixtar go to Monavie to make fast money. Something quick is not long-term and will not last when it comes to business. Amazing the Monavie people never ask them what business model is better 3.2 million products in Quixtar or 1 product in Monavie. You never know next a preacher (Rodney Howard-Browne)may be involved out of a church using a church to build his monavie business and twisting the sermon around to sell his monavie...o yeh it must be a non-profit business. Just like Excel before the FTC shut them down they had a whole church out making a fast buck!!! The most dangerous thing is a double minded man!

Bullcrap. This sounded like a lie coming from a lying scammer so I looked it up and couldn't find anything anywhere.

Why are there no SEC filings or public records of this supposed "transaction"?

While I agree the prices are overpriced in Amway/Quixtar etc, most of you are missing the point. The idea is that you can start a business and achieve an income in a NON traditional way. Every person introduced to the business is well aware of the pricing, so no scam occurs there. For example why would one buy gas at 3.24 per gallon when across the street it is 3.22. Most likely convience, but it doesnt matter the reason. The point is when you join with Quixtar or Amway you are searching a dream or a new way to live. Do some fail (they quit) sure. No biggy. Are foreclosures and traditional business going under at an all time high? ya, but that just shows its the american way. I guess YMCA or Golds Gym is a scam. Same thing, they provide an opportunity and most don't succeed (Unless your neighborhood is full of in shape americans LOL). Am I still part of Amway? NO. not for me. not the kind of opp i was really looking for. Just think about it! If your one of the ones that are out to prove the world that it will never work, I can find 10 more who say it will... The chance for success is no dif for the ones who make and the ones who dont. You are prob the negative guy at work or the sceptic that VOD will never work (Vonage). If your negative keep it to your self .. Your the one making people feel bad. You prob keep track of how many strikeouts Barry Bonds has. Be a positive influence in America. We have enough problems. Let people try it out. I am sure that you waist plenty on something. I guess your going to write an article on Casinos next. Just STOP STOP STOP.. go do a book report with your kid or take em to the zoo. do something postitive.. Leave it alone

Sincerly,

Waiting for Christ to return!

I feel like I'm being a positive influence in America by spreading the meme of "if it's too good to be true then is most likely is".

Before you criticize me for being a "dream crusher" you should know that I've already run 2 businesses myself and one of them was very successful. I enjoy what I do right now, and I don't think of it as a job, it's something that I love doing that I happen to get paid for.

I don't blame you for wanting to be successful. Everyone wants that to some extent, but ask yourself how likely you are to become successful in Quixtar. Seek the answers, find out independently how hard it is to become wealthy that way.

The fact is that very few people are successful in Quixtar, and you'll probably annoy your family and friends with it too. You'd have better luck opening an ice cream stand and have more fun and spend less money doing that.

So, now you know.... My intention is not to hurt anybody. My intention is to let people know that it's highly unlikely that you'll ever be successful and there is money to be made from your lack of success (self help tools, training material). Quixtar doesn't mind when you don't succeed because they make jut as much money in training materials and you'll just end up buying their products for yourself anyway.

This poor person is a good example of Scamway/Quixtar/Alticor brainwashing. These fools actually believe that if they recruit a million more suckers to all sell the exact same energy drink that all of them will make millions of dollars.
They equate quitting the scam with "failure", when quitting is the only way they stop losing cash.
DeVos is a crook and should be imprisoned for the greatest consumer fraud in global history.

Here is an interesting article on how Scamway/quixtar/alticor has paid off high ranking republicans for the political protection to keep the pyramid scheme from being shut down.
http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0412/S00079....
The fraud goes all the way up the republican ladder. Campaign contributions for tax breaks and protection from federal trade rules.

Devos and his family are as crooked as they come. They are shameless scammers. It's also pretty easy to see how Blackwater (DeVos' brother-in-law Erik Prince) got their padded no-bid contracts from the Bush administration.

My husband and I were in the business over 10 years ago and it nearly devistated us financially. We were told that if you were serious about building the business you would not pay your electric bill, for example, to buy tools. There was so much pressure upline to purchase these tools so that we would get time with the big pins and learn more, if you didn't do it you were made to feel like an outcast and a waste of their time.

What galls me the most about the business were the lies that were told. It turns out John Crowe and Kenton Yohey have integrity -- but what could anyone say about Paul Miller that's positive?
The truth is the man with the choir boy appearance is a lying, cheating scumbag who -- like England's Prince -- drove his wife to desperate measures. And all for a ho-bag that others are supposed to edify? No thanks!(Not that the Britt boys are one bit better!)
