Judged: 4 4 4 Do you want our elections to be fair??? She wants same day registration to vote as well as no I.D..She might be a slick talker but she cannot answer questions about these two issues...George Soros has put tons of money into the SOS races around the country...He is an admitted socialist. What do you suppose that's all about??? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Don't know what debate you watched, but Benson seem a bit "lost" on some of the questions. Ruth on the other hand was informed, to the point and answered the questions. I kept wanting to "help" Benson, but then again, perspective plays a large part in this, doesn't it. Ruth recognizes there is fraud, stated the figures that showed it and has real solutions for it. I understand people want their votes to count, but please quit trying to vote several times under different names and sometimes the same addresses for 20 people. I was a monitor a few years back, it happens and Terry Lynn Land did a lot to address the issue. I think Ruth will go further than Benson would in insuring an actual tally. |

Judged: 12 11 10 When Richard Austin was Secretary of State, Michigan led the nation with reforms such as Motor Voter, which enabled residents to register to vote when they got their driver's license. But since then, Michigan has done nothing to move forward or reform our system. It's time for reforms in our Secretary of State's office and Jocelyn Benson is the candidate who will make it happen. Benson supports reforms like early voting - which generally allows voters to vote in-person prior to Election Day. Early voting already exists in more than 30 other states and the program has enjoyed tremendous success and has broad bipartisan support. Benson wants to make voting easier and more secure in Michigan. Early voting would help increase turnout and make voting more convenient. Her opponent, Republican Ruth Johnson, represents more of the same old failed policies. Johnson said in the debate last week that she opposes early voting and that this much-needed reform "doesn't work" in Michigan. Doesn't work? More than two-thirds of the country has already made early voting work. Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch... Why does Ruth Johnson oppose early voting? Why doesn't she want to make voting easier and more convenient for all of us? It's time to reform government in Michigan. It's time to modernize our election system and catch-up to the rest of the country. Jocelyn Benson will make Michigan a leader once again. Benson is the reformer we need. Vote Benson for Secretary of State. |

Note that this deceitful troll will use dozens of different avatars and locations to pretend to be his own crowd. He goes by JLZ, Bogi33, HPQ, Really, etc. |

Judged: 8 7 6 I would appreciate any links to prove your claim. False reports abound in anonymous emails and such, but what legal cases have been filed in Michigan courts attesting to your claim? Your anecdotal experience is dubious at best. |

Judged: 6 6 6 http://www.dailytribune.com/articles/2010/10/... Now come on PGW, tell me what debate you watched. Benson looked like a fool. As for "false" reports, leave those up to the Dems..It was Johnson who found out the Democratic impersonation of the Tea Party, you know the ones the Dems tried to rig voting in Oakland County. Put a Dem in charge of a MI election, have it span over several days, you might just as well have had Jackie Currie running the polls, God rest her corrupt soul. |
