Oh no! How awful. I hope he wasn't stuck like that for a long time before help arrived. If he was impaled the length of his leg or severed an artery, that would certainly be very severe and he could have been near death when emergency assistance arrived. Wondering if they had to cut the barrier and take it along with him to the emergency room is making me feel faint. Poor guy. Hope he survives.

Poor guy . I fell off my bike and got impaled by the handlebar once and it almost hit an artery . It makes me cringe to think I could've bleed to death that way . I hope he makes it God willing .

How sad and ironic is this, I don't find anything funny about it at all, I'm sure he had to of been in alot of pain and quite scared knowing he was losong all that blood. I hope everything turns out ok for him and he gets better soon.

I haven't been on a bike in a number of years but I think you had the bike upside down freak. Keep your nutz and junk out of the moving parts and life will be good.
