try this,..... Campaigning ;) I've seen those ad's also, but havent seen any from Amash. Maybe Amash just feels he doesnt need to run any campaign ad's and he can just ride back into office on coat tails just because of the (R) behind his name on the ticket? But then I just wonder if Steve Pestka's pro-life voting record will make some liberals shy away from voting for him? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/07/stev... I have to admit that I dont really know a lot about either of them, other than Amash's family got their money from selling cheap tools imported mostly from China. I would think that Justin Amash would running some campaign ads defending his record. Seems odd that you dont see any. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Perhaps Justin chooses not to run negative ads? Steve Pestka's ads are deceiving and half truths. |

Judged: 1 Amash ran negative adds during the last election. |

Judged: 1 1 1 But I digress. What I would like all to remember is that Justin Amash was one of the few on EITHER side of the aisle to VOTE AGAINST the NDAA 2012 that is a direct attack on both Posse Comitatus AND Habeus Corpus, two of our most revered protective writs against government tyranny. Do you think the politically opportunist Peska would take such a stand? If you are depending on Political Advertisement to lead you into a wise decision on who to vote for, you can expect to elect the Lowest Common Denominator. |

Amash is running ad's now. Seems it was a money issue. He doesnt have big union money paying for his ad's like Pestka has. Tonight was the first time I had seen a campaign ad from Amash. If Amash's ad's are true, and Pestka really did miss 191 votes, then I think Pestka should explain. Who know's what you can believe in these camaign ad's anymore. |
|
I saw that tonight. Finanace's are finanace's. It's not only unions. They have PAC funds and corporations are now considered people according to the supreme court.
I don't believe any advertisement's either. I was just wondering why Amash didn't have any. If finance was an issue, why didn't Amash do some fundraising? I am not criticizing, but asking. Why didn't the republican party contribute more to his re-election. Why don't I hear anything about Schmidt anymore campaigning. I actually ran into someone from the Peska campaign, during the Pulaski day parade, and asked where Schmidt was, he said he didn't show up? Why not? Schmidt is a big West Sider in GR, and always shows for this parade, but not this year. Why again, why not? If you stand for what you did, you have nothing to be ashamed of right? Amash never shows up for the middle class things either. Does Amash think his "facebook" page is enough? Just curious and asking questions. Not criticizing.

What are "middle class things"?? Do they have those? I cant comment on Amash's face book stuff, I cant afford all of that nonsence. Maybe Amash beieng from a different area might be a reason he didnt show up at Polaski days downtown? Was Pestka there? Pestka say's he's from there, so, did you see him there? |
|
Judged: 1 1 1 I was at Pulaski Days and I did not see Pestka at all. The guy seems like some sort of clown who makes things up. I think he's shady, and he's trying to screw the taxpayers. I also think he lies about his position on abortion. I remember when he came around here a few years ago campaigning and saying he was Mr. Right to Life. Now he's Mr. Abortion-for-Everyone? Liar. |

Fred,
I too was at the Pulaski Day Parade. That was exactly the middle class thing I was referring too. The funny thing is that Schmidt didn't show up either, and he alway's shows up for this. I just chuckled.

Amash is most definitely running ads and campaigning. You must have your binders on. Sorry, couldn't resist :) |

1 add does not consist of campaigning, we shall see what happens.

Will you be voting for Pestka simply because he is a democrat? |
