There's such a thing as a "legitimate" Republican now?! lol Stereotyping labels are important to liberals, aren't they.

So, what's a "legitimate" liberal? A poor, unemployed minority, single mother on welfare with three kids & another on the way and a serious addiction crystal meth with a purse full of food stamps?

Face it, republicans are your neighbors and the people you fill your tank up next to in the gas station. They're no richer or poorer as a whole than liberals or independents no matter how many times you claim otherwise. You can disagree with them, You can insult them - and often do. But, acting as if republicans are rich, or dumb for not being rich yet supporting the rich, is St. Stephen stupid in it's intellect.

By the way, you show me a rich republican politician and I'll show you a rich liberal politician. If you think those progressive fat cats, with their personal jets and penthouse DC apartments, along with their lifetime full medical benefits and pensions, give one rip about poor "legitimate" liberal Lequisha, and her four illegitimate kids, for any reason other than her vote, you truly have channelled your inner St. Stephen ... and you need to stop doing that.

I love how you evil, lying retarded bastards talk as if everything happens in a vacuum. As if your party did not hand Obama a TRILLION DOLLAR deficit and monthly job losses of over 700,000 before he even sat down at the desk. As if there were not record-shattering filibusters on every piece of legislation for the first two years, and then the teabagger insurgency of 2010 basically nullified our Legislative branch altogether. As if you assholes did not hold our entire economy hostage to extort the country into accepting your fascist ideals and costing US a downgrade in our credit rating in the process. As if every single action and inaction of the GOP since his election has had only one goal, and that is to get the darkie out of the White House. Mitch "The Turtle" McConnell even said as much, with the cameras rolling.

You know why I say it? Because there is no other explanation, because he is certainly NOT the kenyan-born socialist muslim radical half of you idiots think he is. For Baal's sake, NIXON was more liberal than Obama on many issues.

So, yeah, let's talk about the economy, shall we? Especially on a thread that specifically and clearly illustrates how utterly rotten and without conscience you people really are.

I think Rex just had an aneurysm. You must Chill!

Let's say everything you say is true...( which we know it's crap).

Libs did same to Reagan, he went on tv, and got the people to demand what they wanted.

What you just said is the president was to inept to get his job done, even 1 vote short of a super majority, and tons of RINO'S in he senate to push him over the top. That sucks pretty hard. About as hard as Obamas lib hero Grandhole, but don't get me started on that piece of crap...Btw, Obamas budget got zero votes in the senate. Btw his blue ribbon commission, he hasn't even had one bill enacted from his side to install any of those changes...waste of time. Ryan picks up some of those recommendations... And you guys think he's the a-hole. Yeah right.

Detroit is all we need to describe your Mecca bastion of lib success... That huge stinking pile of lib refuse that eats up freaking 90%ish of the tax dollars for this state, and is unfit to live or raise a family in because of the crime and corruption. You want the whole country to look like and function as Detroit... No thanks.

And now you knuckle draggers want to turn this place back to what England was in the 1500's. The problem is now is that there is no new land we can move to escape their tyranny this time. So I guess we'll just have to stay and fight, which is what our founders would have wanted us to do.
PROVE it. I want to see it. And NOT an opinion write up by a liberal piece of trash like yourself.

Oh and before you try to get out of it by posting some lame-brain half assed article so you can spin the question, I want PROOF that Christians are going for a Theocracy.

Detroit is a great example of white people leaving a city for the suburbs because they didn't want to be around blackies. Instead of working together like most big cities do, the White Flight is what killed Detroit.

That and corporate greed.

By shuttering plants and moving them overseas Detroit never had a chance. Blaming anyone in Detroit's current political system for something that took place over several decades is absolutely ridiculous. Pro-corporate and anti-worker policies (republican platform) is what killed Detroit, not Tasheka and her four kids.

LMAO!!!

So, what about Obama's quotes on how the shovel ready jobs weren't really shovel ready?

How about all the jobs that were STILL lost and unemployment up over 8% when Obama said that wouldn't happen when they passed the SECOND stimulus package?

How about the 700 million in cuts to Medicare that are in Obamacare that you all want to ignore?

How about the fact that a Democrat Senate can't pass a freakin budget and we have been working on extensions since April 2009?

Care to answer any of these or are you just going on another name calling rant that basically says nothing but raises your blood pressure to stroke level? I really doubt.

Nothing to see here folks, just another progressive "let's hate the right" website. Really, Stevie, would you please put down the koolaid and come up with something other than a "we hate the right" hit piece on a progressive website??? You just won't admit that your line about a Theocracy is just so much crap. No one wants this country to be a theocracy. You, on the other hand, want this country to be an atheist paradise where even speaking of religion is forbidden. Sorry, bud, the constitution doesn't allow for that route anymore than it allows for a theocracy. So, please, move onto something that you actually might know something about, like how MJ isn't harmful to anyone.:)

Pffft ... Here's a Kleenex and a glass of warm milk for you to calm yourself with, Rex. Geez ... you guys were always easy to collapse into full tantrum mode, but anymore there's no challenge to it at all.
You know a Topix addict has hit the wall when he resorts to "get the darkie out" rants.

I love how some people really try to appear smart and relevant while repeating the corporate lies, and cannot even get the number right.

That 700 BILLION, is part of the GOP poison pill passed in 2006, which diverts Medicare funds from Seniors, straight into the pockets of private insurers. It is actually going to be re-applied towards providing actual care to actual people. But then, you might have to read to know that...

Sure it will. Because this administration has such a great track record of "re-applying" funds toward anything but their own wealthy campaign donors. Dipshit can continue to type his anti-corporate paranoia manifesto all damned day and night, but it's not convincing anyone who 's paid attention to this administration's handling of funds thus far.

Publiceye.org , whose motto is "researching the right for progressive changemakers"
Here's why this ridiculous bunch of moonbats says they focus on "the right":
{While attacks on civil liberties can come from any direction, the political and Christian Right use skillful marketing that exploits the public’s desire for quick solutions and capitalizes on today’s hectic information flow. With clever slogans that oversimplify complex public policy issues, the Right routinely scapegoats others in pursuit of their agenda}

Great source here ... No bias at all, to say nothing of jaw-dropping hypocrisy.

Nice try Rex, but you are the one who can't read apparently. Try again...it is 700 Billion that is being diverted from Medicare to offset some of the costs of the Obamacare bill. Even the CBO has said it is to offset some of the costs. So, if anyone needs to stop the koolaid and learn to read, it would be you. As for the "corporate lies" routine, YET AGAIN, find a new buzzword, please, this is very stale and immature of you. Or hasn't the progressive talking points come up with a new buzz word yet?

Truth needs no buzzwords. It tends to remain constant. If I sound redundant, it is because truth is constant. And for every new meme, scare tactic, and revision put out by you fascists, the truth will always stand in contrast.

The truth is, that the $700 billion pork barrel granted to the insurance companies in 2006 will now go towards something that might actually help American people. The truth is that Paul Ryan's budget would take that same $700 and use it offset even more tax cuts for the people who caused this disaster.

You idiots just hear the cover story, and spit out the lines you are handed. The saddest thing is that you are trying to be friendly to your own enemy and you become the enemy of your neighbors and fellow citizens in the process. You have made yourself both a useful tool and a human shield to people who will dispose of you at their own convenience.

The truth is you're constantly wrong. It's become redundantly wrong and therefore boring as hell. You'll continue to call people idiots and prattle on about your anti-corporate conspiracies, but the truth is you're not convincing anyone that isn't already blindly ensconced in Useful Idiocy, tools and human shields to people who will dispose of them at their convenience - as you say.

The truth is more and more people just want Obamacare repealed. They don't trust the authors of this horror, nor do they trust this administration's ability to manage any amount of money, let alone $700 billion. You can drone on about evil, corrupt business owners, but that means nothing in the face of this economy and the prospect of an entirely corrupt government controlling our health care - which, despite your tantrums - is exactly who will be in charge, and exactly who will be misappropriating that $700 billion.

Truth
Government is there to protect the people, not just from other countries but also Religion, Corporate greed, ect.....

Businesses are there to make a profit by any means possible and that is not good for the people.

Obama became President, I went back to work.

While Bush was President , I lost my job.
