That is exactly the problem "Playing on the Bay for business for the next two days!" That means you will play with your aka buddies for aka business purposes and then write off the expense as a business expense while a bunch of BS is going on. Which in turn lowers your tax rate. While the people that worked for you or helped put you in that position cannot do the same. As they are back in the shop doing the work while you are so called "working".
I worked with someone just like you and would go take his ship up to Mackinaw every summer for a 2 week vacation. Along the way he would stop for lunch in 2 ports to take an individual customer, aka friend to lunch, he would write off 75% of that $5,000 vacation as a business expense. What so they could drink and party? And those of us back at the office would hold down the shop and work overtime just for them to have fun! Too bad this guy had his expense account audited by someone else in the firm. He got nailed big time. Keep it up and will come back to bite you.

Green with envy eh? You have a serious problem with success..... You have none..... Not my problem.... I am expected to generate business at a rate that develops a profit for the company and keep people employed..... Just because you do not possess the skills to be outside of the office and unsupervised does not mean that those that do are evil.... You will never know.....

I get a glimpse of west bay every morning on my way to work sometimes the fog stays over the bay looks sometimes like someone dropped a big hunk of dry ice in the water. Was at Dillinger's this evening had a few beers and diner. The choice here for eating are amazing I mean you can be a vegan one day and go to Modes and have Prime Rib the next.
Ahhhh,.... Modes!
One of my favorite places!
Going there Saterday night.
I get the same thing everytime I go there. Looking forward to it.
The west bay is awsome, I love it up there.

And as for the person you use to work with. How do you know that's how much he wrote off, did you do his taxes or handle his expense report?

Did they break the law? No, they did not. Don't like the tax law? Don't blame those who follow the law. Write your congressman, you know, the Democrat one, and ask them to correct that. Oh wait, never mind, the IRS already cracked down on that years ago. Try to keep up, will you?

Probably did break tax laws. Fabricating tax returns is against the law. We'll have to see what the IRS auditors find. An Audit generally finds all sorts of tax law violations. His day is coming and I'll get great satisfaction when his lil cheatin' heart gets broke. lol

You just make crap up as you go don't you? IF your premise were true, Al Capone would have been in jail a whole heck of a lot earlier than he was. Oh well, it's your world, have fun in it pipester.

Thank you, Really. That is indeed the point here. The government got outsmarted by companies who's goal is to turn a profit, unlike the government, who has no incentive to do anything but tax and waste.

If the liberals, who get off demonizing "fat cats", want to blame anyone you should be grilling President Big Ears, who has every ability to propose tax reform changes and promised to solve these kinds of problems, but only seems content play golf and make arrogant speeches. Don't blame people for working within the law to save their own person profits.

Simply ridiculous, the ideological retardation of liberals who can't bring themselves to even demand this president act presidential, but will instead excoriate people for not willingly turning over their personal property to an government who proves every minute how completely corrupt and inept it is.

Why? So you can excuse the incompetence of this administration yet again? Will you ever take your rose colored glasses off and see what is actually happening? Never mind, I know the answer. You and pipester must be twins.

Who did not see all this coming? With both elections Obama, Axelrod, Biden, and company acted so smug and in our faces. They practically told us outright they were doing this stuff. Does anybody remember the whole Corsine thing? Remember how Biden bragged that he and Obama called him up and begged ole Johnny to help them out....yeah with 1.6 mil he helped them all right. I keep wondering if that was Obamster's campaign cash.
