The CBO also made clear that they were unable to say which of those two factors would be the biggest reason for the FTE loss.

As far as the unpopularity of Obamacare is concerned, I'll just point out that polling results show that when people are asked about Obamacare they often have a poor opinion of it, but when they're asked about the provisions in Obamacare, the benefits it brings to our society, then the numbers reverse and more people come out in favor of it.

One more thing about the blog post I linked to. Why was it necessary for the CBO to produce that post? It was done because many Republicans and members of the news media were portraying the report as saying that the ACA would leave more than 2 million people jobless. Why would the CBO produce that blog post if the claims about Obamacare costing millions of people their jobs was correct? It was done to refute that mischaracterization of what they predicted.

The truth seems to matter when what you consider the "truth" benefits democrats.

Where were you when the truth pointed to the fact that if you liked your plan you very much couldn't keep it?
Why is it that the truth didn't matter when Hillary was telling the American people the reason four Americans were butchered because of a youtube video? And furthermore I hear an awful lot of liberal support for that same person who when questioned about the truth said, "what difference does it make anyway?"

The CBO's findings predicted over 2 million people who all this time we've been told Obama is working to find jobs for will soon join the millions more unemployed Americans. You can parse the wording all you want but the TRUTH is millions more Americans not working as a result of Obamacare does not a job-creating law make.

The truth, Mark?? Good grief...

The CBO director blog was posted 6 days AFTER the report came out immediately followed bythe right wing lunatic media deception. Nutso was shown this and still tries to spin it. You're trying to reason with someone whose proven to be a chronic liar. Good luck with that. He's shown point blank a number of times that his lies and spin don't hold up and he comes back with more distortions and deception. The Truth is Nutso doesn't have enough to do.

There are those who celebrate that perish - those who wish to "fundamentally transform" America. Hopefully, enough people become aware in time of what our fundamentals stand for.

Lincoln's Gettysburg Address is probably one of the most famous speeches ever made by a politician in this country's history. When you look at the challenges his government was facing during his time in office, and consider that he was asked to help in dedicating a cemetery to honor fallen union soldiers in one of that war's most famous battles, he did a spectacular job.......

As a matter of fact, many presidents have given great speeches when this country has been faced with a war our country was involved in. FDR spoke of a Day of Infamy, Reagan challenged the Russians to tear down that wall, and even George W. climbed on a heap of rubble to declare that our enemies couldn't hide. All of these great speeches answered a call to answer the challenges these men faced.

However, until your good buddy Dr. X and his supposed hidden army of separatists decide to do more than hide in their basements plotting treason, trying to compare any of them with President Obama doesn't make any sense at all.

By the way, don't bother to thank me for holding off on commenting on W's failure to follow through on his promises.....
