---"The Republican Party has said it's the party of 'family values.' Last night, it turned its back on the most essential value of all, and that's to provide food, shelter, clothing and relief for people who have been hit by a natural disaster," King said in an interview with CNN.

"Anyone from New York or New Jersey who contributes one penny to the Republican Congressional Campaign Committee should have their head examined," King said. It's very rare for a lawmaker to call on anyone not to support his own party.

"There are a number of Republicans who maybe can kiss their seat goodbye ... because of what was done to them," he said, pointing fingers at House leadership for putting GOP lawmakers in the region stricken by Sandy in jeopardy. "If you can't provide the most basic assistance for your district, who needs you in Congress?"----

The republicans in the House are setting a new standard and are destroying the GOP from within, so much so that infighting within the GOP is becoming the new normal.

More buffoonery from the ignorant twosome, neither of whom care that this country is going over a fiscal cliff that Stevie's ever so perfect children will be paying for until they can't remember why the hell they are even working. As for Blue, never mind.

Oh the Hypocrisy from the left continues,.......
For years they whined about Bush taking 10 day's to get federal aid to Katrina victems.
It's now been over 60 days, and NO action from Obama!(must be Bush's fault)
Blame the GOP for everything!!!!
Seems thats the liberal way of doing business these day's!

The only one I've heard about "slinking out of town" is Obama!
He's gone back to Hawaii to continue his $4 MILLION vacation.

WHO IS IN CHARGE RIGHT NOW?????

It sure doesnt seem like Obama is!

If you liberals want to throw stones, you might want to consider why it took your messiah 60 days to throw this spending bill out there at midnight, on New Years Eve?
Obama own's it!
He's a failure!
He should have done something two month's ago!

Typical of the left,....just blame someone else,.........

We all know why he waited till the last minute, he wanted force the GOP to vote on a bill without reading it so he could make sure his crooked politics get slid in.

That's interesting........

I would have thought that Boehner's punting of the whole deal to Obama and the Senate may have something to do with it.

When the obstructionist Republicans can't even agree amongst themselves on how to screw over the country, you should expect to be served a huge helping of crow for dinner.

So do you serve red or white whine with that?

Except in this case it's the right that is blaming the right. This isn't Obama's problem as it takes a vote from congress to get the money to where it needs to go. Obama can't sign anything unless its run the proper course.

These topix republicans still cant come to grips with the fact that most of our founding fathers were liberals. They hate everything liberal yet they want to enjoy the freedom that liberals fought for and used to create this nation. The real conservatives have become independants because republicans are no longer conservative. They are corporate welfare spendaholics. There is no such thing as a free market when you add corporate welfare into the equation. The first compromise the republicans went for was a spending bill. Instead of letting the free market set wages for the dairy owners and milk prices they spent tax dollars on corporate welfare.

I need to change that to fiscal republicans have become independants.

Conservatives are according to Roget's thersaurus stingy, miserly, regressive, narrow-minded, reactionary, bigoted, predijuce, biased.

Liberals are tolerant, generous, Enlightened, broadminded, lavish, charitable.

The comments on here back up the thesaurus.

Conservatives have been destroying freedom over the last few decades. They are like having 4 doo gooders in a room of 100 and trying to tell the other 96 how to live while stealing tax dollars to give to the wealthy corporations. Church has done nothing to change the conservative mindset somehow I think it increases their hatred of others who are not like them and dont want to be like them.

Blubbering Boehner got his gavel back and has promised to put a bill on the floor for a vote.......

Most likely $100 per/state to help out, along with a rider that gives additional tax breaks to the top 1%!

You'll have to excuse Jimmy, he's a lil bit special. The whole article contained republicans ripping other republicans, even calling for people to quit donating to the party. Jimmy must have missed that part.

It took 10 day's for aid to get to Katrina victems, and for years you liberals have done nothing but complain about it. It has now been over 60 day's since Sandy, and no aid from Obama, and all you people can do is blame someone else.
There is this thing called "executive order" that Obama can use in order to give the Sandy victim's aid, but he chooses not to use it.
Funny how he DID choose to use it when he sent millions to the Muslim Brotherhood, isnt it?

Wait just a minute. The Republicans made no provision or mention of the Sandy victims in the fiscal cliff deal. No aide going to them to this point is right in line with your philosophy of the Federal Government should stay out of state's business and you're bad mouthing Obama? Shouldn't you guys be celebrating that it looks like Obama's come over to your side?

Ooops. The Senate approved a $60.4billion aid package that was blocked by 67 Republicans. Including Rep. Andy Harris, who represents the Eastern Shore. Saying "that he will not support the bill unless budget cuts are found to pay for the additional spending."

Hey, gotta give em credit for standing by their philosophy that the Federal Government needs to keep out of bailing people out.

Perhaps if the "representatives" would send through an aid bill that was ONLY for the Sandy victims, it would pass with flying colors? How much pork was in the bill SIB? Or doesn't that matter to you as long as it is under Obama and the Dems??? Hypocrite much?
