However, I will give you some. My son used to work for a fast food restaurant. He no longer does and he has much better insurance. I am not saying that Obamacare is perfect, I am just letting you know how he was ripped off by the insurance company.

And today the Policy your son had a while ago equals JUNK. What a coincidence? Some of these doofuse Baggers on here probably think that policy is A #1 and should just remain the same. lol

Apparently the progressives have taken their lead from the dictator wanna be and think that everyone is "owed" the best insurance? Good grief people...no one owes anyone anything! And for those who are totally clueless, the "best" policy that people now think they are getting? yeah, it isn't free nor will it be less expensive or cost the same.

They realize they were lied to about HumptyCare's "affordability" too, so now they're playing the "well it's better than what you had even though you were forced to pay more for what you didn't want" angle.

It's all they can do at this point. Notice the cyber tough act as well. Progressivism always promises peace and fairness, but always results in force and attempted tyranny. You can see it in the weak and ignorant progressive supports like pipedream, who's run out of talking points so now is back to "we won, you lost, so STFU" rants.

Evidently. Sheila Lee Jackson has also reached the point of "I know better than you because I can no longer defend this law with facts and reality" tyrannical arrogance.

The progressives are to the point that all they have left is their arrogance and it is showing up more and more every day.

How about the penalties fees for insurance companies not carrying crap you don't need are to high. So covering only what you need is what you call junk. Covering what you don't need is good in your mind. In turn you pay for a policy costing more because more is covered even though you don't need it. Once again I thought this whole change was about brining costs down.

Or they take their ball and run home, like Bob. Go Blue decided reality was going so bad for his hero Obama he'd just stick with college football. Both wise, if cowardly, decisions. LOL

That leaves us with two not-so-wise radicals, a troll and someone who sees stupid people, to angrily hold up Humpty's wall, at least until the democrat vote-harvesting machine drums up another faux outrage-worthy bit of talking points. Then the four progressive stooges will come roaring back, claiming dominance ... until they run forehead first into reality again.

I'm waiting for Bob to come crawling back with another Fox News McTantrum. Does the great McRib scandal of '13 continue??!! What's next?? Long John Silvers????!!!!

Nope...it's just another tactic to 'redistribute' the wealth; taking from the producers and giving to the slackjawed takers like our resident MPD troll.

His employer chose the coverage he got for the amount he paid. If anyone ripped him off, it was his employer.
BTW...was your son smart enough to read the policy he got to see what was or wasn't covered or did he just assume it covered whatever he wanted for 40 bucks a month? Was he at all aware of what his cost share would be with that policy? How much was his deductible? What percentage copay did he have? How much was his maximum annual out of pocket amount? Does he know any of those things about his current policy? I'm always amazed at how little people know about a service they are paying for.

And today that policy would cost him 5 times at much (at least) and he would still have a large deductible (5K) and copay (50% after deductible) and probably still be lucky to have $200.00 of the whole bill covered. Yup, that's dbag progress for ya.
BTW..Obamacare allows for the catastrophic (what you like to call 'junk') plans...they just cost a whole lot more for the same coverage you all now call junk. http://www.politico.com/story/2013/11/obamaca... Dbags are all stuck on stupid.

I highly doubt it. Baggers like you shouldn't be reading Politico and the other bull-shit reads geared to satisfy what low information people like you want to believe. No wonder you're so stupid.

Yes, I believe you're high but that's about all you have here. No proof, no contradictory evidence.
Tell us pippybob...what's the deductible and copay for the Obamacare bronze plan?
So...let's see here...a person covered under the Obamacare bronze plan has a $5K deductible and a 50% copay up to an out of pocket max between $6,350 for an individual or $12,700 for a family ON TOP OF the several hundred dollars a month they pay in premiums...let's estimate conservatively at 12K a year for a family of 4. So...how much does that plan save you for the 28K appendectomy (that the doctor would have discounted considerably if you agreed to pay cash or work out a payment plan)? Bupkiss....actually, they probably would have fared better without insurance at all in this scenario.

Its called INSURANCE a@@hole. You claim to be in the "insurance" business dickhead. Its sounding more and more like you're the floor sweeper at your local car insurance agency.

As for the bronze or catastrophic premiums, if the individual or family is healthy (relatively), few office calls, prescriptions, treatments its better than having nothing at all. What happens when a@@holes who roll the dice get sick. They either pay out of their pockets or go bankrupt or they end up in the emergency rooms and people who do have insurance pay in higher premiums.

The question you have to answer is having insurance with real coverages is worth it. If you don't think it is, then go with out and Shut Your Big Mouth.

You really ARE stupid. What part of "deductible" don't YOU understand? The office calls, everything goes to the deductible until you reach the maximum. Query for you there pipester/bobby, which of the 4 plans under the ACA allow for the subsidy? Hint: Only one of them does.

Wrong again cluck-cluck. You really shouldn't post stuff on here. But, you wear your stupidity well on your nose. If you qualify for a subsidy you can apply it towards any of the exchange plans Cluck-cluck.

As for deductibles, almost all policies had them in one form or another (most did not include premiums either) before ACA . Deductibles are nothing new.
