Really, Sheila???

[Despite the fact that thousands and potentially millions of Americans have had their plans canceled due to noncompliance with minimum standards of the Affordable Care Act, that's just no big deal to Rep. Lee.

Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat, told National Review Online today that instead of sending out cancellation letters, insurance companies should have told their customers that their coverage was about to get better.

She said she wrote an amendment before the president’s announcement that would require insurance companies to “tell the truth.”

“The cancellation notice was not the truth,” she says.“It should have been:’We intend to or expect to modify your insurance.’”

Really, Rep. Lee? Really? How else could you possibly describe a letter from an insurance company that blatantly states that their plan will no longer be offered due to Obamacare? It is, in the literal sense of the word, a cancellation letter.

And that's the truth.]

-----

LOL!!! "We expect to modify your insurance"?????? How very tyrannical of you, Sheila.

I'm certain Sheila Lee Jackson believes with every fiber of her batty little being that these millions of Americans who just got dropped from their coverage courtesy of the democrats have absolutely NO RIGHT to be angry at the democrats, who really just did them a favor by forcing them to spend time scrambling for new insurance that cost up to three times more than what they were paying.

I think all the people who got cancellation notices should stuff the mailbox of this 'cancellation truther' so she can see for herself what a cancellation notice looks like. Sorry, Sheila...you are very, very out of touch with reality here. When an insurance policy is no longer being sold or offered by your insurance company, it's cancelled and they are not allowed to simply pick another one to replace it without your consent or your agreeing to purchase the new policy. In most cases, these new policies are considerably more expensive than the cancelled ones.

Once again A@@hole, let me explain it to you again. Insurance companies have been cancelling and changing policies since the insurance business started. They have that prerogative and always have had that prerogative. People have been buying junk policies since then too. Insurance companies are canceling their junk policies and blaming it on ACA. If you don't like that, either buy a policy they are offering, or go the insurance exchange and shop around, find employment where health insurance is offered, or go without. Its really that simple. Till then try shutting your big mouth or find something to stuff it with. That shouldn't be too difficult for a guy like you since you routinely have something stuffed in your big mouth. I'm pretty sure Phil or O-no-balls will gladly help you out.

If you could read, you would be able to see that the ACA has "minimum standards" that forced the cancellation of the policies. And your dictator friend CANNOT just "decree" that the insurance companies can ignore that part of the law just because he wants to save his political arse. But, since you can neither read nor comprehend, and your progressive friends who decided we had to "pass it and then find out what is in it" obviously had no clue either, the dictator will try just about anything to escape from yet another lie. You and others just like who are so willing to let him get away with all the lies are seeing what the rest of the country thinks and it's making him and his cohorts very nervous. For the rest of us? We are laughing at his lies and your stupidity.

That's the funny part about all of this; the more the democrats try to deny and defend Humpty's Big Lie, the more they reveal themselves the arrogant tyrants conservatives have been warning voters about.

Your point is valid, vox. Let Sheila Lee Jackson stand in front of one of the millions of Americans who's policy was cancelled and say in her snotty tone, "that cancellation notice you're wavin' in front of my face isn't true!"

The people who have had to take time out of their lives to seek out another policy, and one that likely is costing them far more than that which they were happy with, don't give a damn about the details, and they sure as hell don't need some arrogant, angry politician who's insurance hasn't been effected telling them their problems aren't the democrats' fault.

Let them who say their policies were cancelled stand up and tell us their policies were junk, not worth the paper they were written on, that they had bought them AFTER the law went into effect, and that they were told by the insurer it would be cancelled on or before Dec. 31, 2013. The ones who were not told their policies were junk or would be cancelled on or before Dec. 31, 2013 can tell us that also.

I had nothing to do with the Mouth being an a-Hole, or you either, for that matter. You both completed that phase in your pathetic lives long ago. Blame the John Birch Society, ignorance, stupidity, your upbringing, and home schooling for that.

Are you concerned someone might find out you're a flamer or psychopath? Which is it O-nutso?

BTW your mental/psychiatric records have most likely already been documented electronically somewhere. Remember GWB? Write him and ask how he could have championed that.

And another thing you can KMA - How's that?

Pippybob thinks nanny government should tell us all what's good for us and we should all open wide and swallow whatever nanny government wants to shove down our throats. Since they are incapable of thinking and choosing for themselves, they are incapable of conceiving that others just might be able to.

Tell you what bobby/pipester/iseestupidpeopl e or whatever cowardly name you choose next time, when you put out here for everyone to see that YOUR policy meets all the "minimum" standards of the ACA, THEN you can demand stuff from those required to use the ACA. Until then? You don't have a leg or an arm to stand on there little boy. And your arrogance gets more amusing each and every day.

By the sounds of it Mouth, you don't have the sense to come in out of the rain.

Like I said before, until you become more educated on what's in the ACA, why it came about, what insurance is, and how rates, risk are assessed and priced, just STFU and quit harping your faux nose Talking points and bagger bull Schit because you're just spinning your self in circles. At the end of the day, you'll be doing just what I'm smiling at O-nutso for .... you'll either be planting your fat ass down at a computer and choosing a health policy, buying one, or a par plan off the individual market, or you'll be going without. Nobody really cares what you do.

Guess who'll be hee-hawing and LOL'ing then? Have a nice day!

Newsflash, doucheboi; I've worked in the insurance industry for 25 years and I have had the same insurance policy with the same company paid for by my employers for 22 of those 25 years. I can't wait until you find out what you're insurance premiums are going to be. And yes...I can believe you'll be hee-hawing just like the jackass you are.

However, I will give you some. My son used to work for a fast food restaurant. He no longer does and he has much better insurance. However, working in a fast food joint they charged him $20 every 2 weeks and guess what he had to have his appendix out. It covered maybe $200 of the total bill. I am not saying that Obamacare is perfect, I am just letting you know how he was ripped off by the insurance company.
