Shows what you know about drugs. Hydrocodone (which is Vicodin's base) is an opiate which is banned in most of Europe for medical use. 99% of the world's hydrocodone is used in the United States. It is addictive and an overdose can stop your breathing and/or heart. Ever heard of anyone overdosing on pot? But you've had it before so you know all the answers, right?

Pipedream and I have never met. We are 2 different people in 2 different states.
That being said, I realize you feel the need to use a sexual connotation (stroking yourself) to emphasize your loss of feeling you are
left out.
On that note, I hope you and your loved ones have a safe and happy holiday season also.

You have no reason to be so advisarial or insulting towards others...try using some peaceful means instead of hateful and nasty means...

Would you like to pull out any of your other names after you lost your whole argument? You are only fooling yourself pothead. Clean yourself!

PHOENIX (CBS5)-
Doctors at the Banner Poison and Drug Information Center are seeing a dramatic increase in the number of young children overdosing on marijuana.
In the most extreme cases, doctors say toddlers have been admitted to the emergency room comatose.

"I remember one case where a child ended up getting a lumbar puncture, a CAT scan. And about a day into it, a half a day into it, ended up getting a drug screen, which is something we don't normally do on a one-year-old," said Dr. Frank LoVecchio, who is the co-medical director at the poison center.

In 2012, the center saw 10 cases where young children showed signs of marijuana exposure. In the first six months of this year, it's already seen 10 cases.

"Almost all of the cases that I'm aware of are from the child eating some form of marijuana," said LoVecchio.

----

My beef isn't with legalizing marijuana. I say if you want to smoke weed do it, but don't sit there and tout it as some kind of safe recreation. And don't tell us that the people who use it will do so responsibly. As shown above that clearly isn't the case.

If we're going to legalize pot, we'd better respect it's ability to cause harm to innocent people.

In 2010 23,000 people died in the US due to a prescription drug overdose and 25,000 people died from alcohol related diseases or overdoses. That same year zero people died from a pot overdose. In fact there are no proven cases of an overdose of pot causing death, ever. Safe recreation? Define safe. Even if it only killed 1,000 people per year it would be 22 times safer that prescription drugs and 24 times safer than alcohol!

Any parent that leaves pot out for their toddler to get at is an idiot, the same goes for parents who leave prescription drugs, guns or alcohol out.

Damn right...children should not have access to drugs of any kind without adult and doctor supervision, including MJ or any other drug.

On a side note...Happy holidays to you and your loved ones.

I really do not understand why you keep pointing at something as being bad and expressing somehow that it is justifying the use of pot. Jason just go to work.

I meant get out of the basement and go down the street to the Rainbow Club which is the place of your employment. Then Jason, you can get your Obama costume on and dance on the pole as all your boyfriends chant "Take it off poledancer." Don't give me that crap you understood exactly what I said. Will you please explain why you said Brian is my dad and others too. Now you are calling me Brian? What's up with that?

I hope i don't come off as anti-smoking, but am well aware of the damage and breathing problems, that many years of smoking can cause. I just haven't ever seen any real evidence that marijuana causes any really harsh medical problems........cigarettes and alcohol seem much worse, so i think the time has come to stop the prohibition on pot.....at least make it so that some taxes are collected and that the Mexicans aren't making the profits.....

You won't be able to smoke pot in public so second hand smoke shouldn't be an issue. The AMA has said there seems to be no connection between pot and lung cancer.

You can read more here:

http://healthland.time.com/2012/01/10/study-s...

They can't explain why this is but the numbers don't lie.

Pot causes lung cancer. The difference is people that smoke cigarettes smoke a higher volume than pot smokers on average. That does not make pot smoking healthier than cigarette smoking.

Read the study. You're hardly worth responding to, life's too short for trolls but I don't mind telling trolls their wrong. Their findings clearly state that long term, heavy smokers of pot do not come down with lung complications or lung cancer. Don't believe the study? Don't care. I'll take the AMAs findings over some topix troll's any day.

Are you totally stupid? It's a toxin brought into the body! 20 cigarettes a day over 30 years is much different than one or two joints a day over 30 years! It could be 10 to 20 times different per day! I would say it is much more likely that you would have cancer from cigarettes smoke than pot smoke by volume alone per day! Jason do I have to draw pictures for you constantly? You are dumber than a two-year-old! Get to work your late!

Perhaps cigarettes smoking is more prevalent and users keep the habit longer than pot smokers....
