OK. Time to separate the sane people from the nuts.

I'm going with closer to 4.5 billion.

I will go with 4.5 Billion years. However, I understand that some of the Biblican Creationists are divided between 6 and 10 thousand years. Why are they disagreeing?

Probably depends on which version of their comic book they are reading.

Arctic, I think you would really like this video. Check it out. Lawrence Krauss, a cosmologist, "Something from Nothing". Great watch.

Nice to see you on here again.:)

Cool video.

Have you checked out the Christian Reconstructionism thread yet? I posted some info about an overt mainstream theocracy movement starting later this month.

I wonder if they teach this at Calvin College?? Theoretically, it is based on Calvinism.

I don't know what they teach at Calvin College....

I do know that there are a lot of christian schools that are teaching false American history.

FAUX had a very interesting article yesterday about home schoolers. Seems like 83% want their kids to have "religious" instructions and most are evangelical christians and are teaching their kids creationism. It exposed a company that prints pseudo-textbooks based on christian ignorance and sells them to wackos. It's pretty bad when FAUX prints an article that makes the looney christian right look stupid.

I've seen that thread, and your links on it, and want to say thank you for posting them. I've never been a big fan of Beck, and your links have really opened my eyes. I've always thought he was kinda "out there" so to speak.
Not all of us, who are conservative believe in him, or watch his shows. I have seen his show several times, but dont watch regularly.
Maybe he's gone over the edge so to speak?
I hope folks will go there, and see the links that you have posted.

Welcome to the west Michigan calvinist bible-belching belt and all of it's glory of ignorance.

Not too long ago we had one poster here who was adamant that evolution was bunk because humans are more closely related to pigs than primates.

Looks like Beck may be trading one addiction for another, starting to have my doubts about him lately.
