Obama Bin Lyin made mention of the "people's government" or some such... um, SINCE WHEN YOU DICKHEAD?!?!?!?!

How come it wasn't the "people's government" when you were signing all of your "executive orders"?

How come it wasn't the "people's government" when you FORCED - yes I said FORCED - obastardcare on the "people" in the dead of night? "We the people" didn't vote for it - you did you asshole!! You and your liberal demoKKKrat commie buddies.

The "people's government" MY ASS!!!

The MAJORITY of "the people" don't want your bullshit healthcare.

Mark my words people here is a prediction - how long before they start now allowing people their driver's licenses unles they have obastardcare? If the liberals have their way we'll all be getting government bus passes, driving is dangerous you know. Buses are one of the lynchpins of creating a socialist society, so we all better be good little socialists and give up the freedom of our cars for the spoiled kenya boy.

The only thing I can't figure out is why they limited their demands to the ACA, when there's all those other evil windmills to tilt at.... Repeal Social Security, Defund Medicare and Medicaid!
They only need to stand their ground for another year so the voters can show their appreciation.
Never Negotiate - Never Give Up!
When will you grow up? It is not the repubs who did this, it was the dems. 4 times the house passed legislation to keep from a shut down. But the president and dems shot everyone down. Look here, I will post a source that is not from Fox but from the USA Today. Read it and then tell me about it (if you dare).

You don't have to give up any of your freedoms. We know who Obama is and what he represents. We know that war is inevitable. America is about to become the worlds most dangerous place. Do you have the balls to kill for freedom?

Obama won't back down because he wants this fight. Can you imagine what lays in store for America if he gets another trifecta in government? Illegal immigration becoming legal, total war on fossil fuels, complete assault on 2nd amendment rights...just to name a few. He is poking the tiger through the fence in the hopes of a violent revolution so he can claim martial law and complete his dictatorship dreams. It will sadly end in a total apocalypse of Biblical proportions. No more USA. Only a hollowed out group of city states will be left and the bounties on the heads of those who caused it.

Second, the liberals/left/Dems don't believe in the ripple effect of their actions. So in the world of the left, all these people will get their money (except for the evil owners who deserve to loss money).
Third, I do agree that non of the folks in the House, Senate, White House, etc. should get paid. On that we do agree on.
I would love to hear your solution that would satisfy both sides and not just produce a win-lose scenario like Obama/Reid are pushing.
The truth.....

Every time the ultra conservatives in the House pushed through a funding bill that either defunded or delayed the ACA, the Senate sent back an amended version restoring it. This is completely within the rights of the Senate to do so, yet the House can't seem to learn that their weak attempt to subvert the will of the people isn't going to work.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result.

Repeal Obamacare has failed over 40 times, think about it!

Bob, the left hasn't cared for the truth in decades, nor has the media so it's pretty silly of you to say "truth" and then come out with a lie. It worked before the internet when one had to go to the library to get the real facts, but in today's world the left only has emotion to work with.

In the recent bills on this, generally 220 out of 232 Republicans support the bills. That is a 95% agreement rate. Your claim that it is the "ultra conservatives" that are pushing this shows your lack of knowledge on the subject. Oh, and 9 Dems also voted in support of this so that really blows your fantasy apart.

Next problem is that the purpose of the House is to represent the will of the people. You and I have a representative and that person's vote represents the will of their district. If "the will of the people" was to go into even more debt and fully fund the ACA, then the people's will would be reflected in the vote of the House.

Here's a decent short article on this:

http://washingtonexaminer.com/obamacare-is-th...

I also find it interesting that when the ACA was passed, the D's didn't want any input from the R's and eventually didn't get any support. For supporters of the ACA to believe that those representatives who opposed it in 2008 and were re-elected or were elected in 2010 and 2012 by their constituents to oppose the ACA would go against their voter's wishes, is beyond stupid.

If the D's didn't want the R's support in 2008, why are they upset when they aren't getting their support in 2013? All those blue voters on the coasts don't vote in Michigan, nor do those in Detroit vote in Grandville. My rep should be voting to represent the desires of his district. Not the desires of those in San Francisco who put Nancy Pelosi in office.

As the President said, elections have consequences. And that includes all of the elections in 2012 that gave the R's the majority of the House.

From the article I linked: "By the will of the people and the law of the land,(the ACA) should have died with Scott Brown’s election, but the corpse was propped up and pushed through on a loophole, and has been a zombie law of sorts ever since.

It remains half-alive, not quite dead but not living, either; never accepted by most of the country, its laws not enforced by more than half of the governors, half of its deadlines unmet."

Niether Obama nor Romney ran on the ACA. It wasn't an issue in the 2012 Presidential election.

To call the election a vote for the law isn't true. "I was surprised when I looked back at the national exit poll to see what 'the people' said about Obamacare when they gave the president a second term," wrote Nathan Gonzales in Roll Call.

Gonzalez noted that, while Obama beat Mitt Romney by four points for president, 51-47; support for repeal of the law beat support for it by a still larger margin, 49-44.

Twenty-five percent wanted it repealed completely, 24 percent partially; 31 percent wanted to see it expanded, and 16 percent left as it was. Only 18 percent thought health care was the major problem facing the country, perhaps the cause of what seems a split verdict.

If people thought defeating health care was important enough, they would have voted for Romney. On the other hand, the bill lost by a larger spread than Obama won by.

Say what you want but The TEA Party is doing Exactly what they were voted in for. Actually for the people by the people. They are keeping their promise.
You want Congress to have the same health care as us? so do they.
The people who voted for them are glad they are fighting, and standing their ground. The national debt is out of control, deficit spending is at historical records. They are doing what they said they would trying to reign it in.
I think you have nothing to complain about and just like using the word "Tea Bagger", It must make you feel good, even when you are totally clueless.

The most famous compromise was the Missouri Compromise which extended slavery for another 40 years. It wasn't until the far right under Lincoln and the far left under Davis decided the time for compromise was over. Had they continued to compromise, the world would be a very different place.
In my real world, compromise means win-win. In the political world it seems to be either lose-lose or win-lose.
So, take a shot. What would be a compromise that would be a win for both sides?
The one that the House proposed on Monday. The House passed a Continuing Resolution that would have kept the gov't open with had two amendments that I believe the public would also support.
One would have delayed the "individual" mandate for a year. This would be directly in line with the special favor given to big business. Why give special favor to big business?? Answer...big money.
The second would have killed Obama's illegal over-ride giving Congress and it's staff special treatment in the exchanges.
Had the gutless Democrap Senate passed it we would not be where we are today. I believe at least 9 Democrats in the House also supported this action.

I already have and so has everyone else in America - our freedom of choice, our freedom to choose what's best for ourselves and NOT had over all your information to the government.

You can bet your ass they will make it impossible to get your driver's license for the first time or renewed unless you have obastardcare. Car insurance companies are already penalizing people who don't have forced healthcare by raising premiums sometimes by THOUSANDS of dollars.

demoKKKrats WANT to force people out of their cars and into thier socialist busing, then they control where you're going and when you're going. That's why busing is one of the lynchpins of a good socialist society. Control.

People keep saying they're ready to fight back, which is complete bullshit.

Talk is cheap. People say the same thing everytime gas prices go up. If any of what your saying were actually going to happened, it would have happened in the 3 years this BS was getting set up and none of us would be in this position in the first place.

I suggest you people who sign up to be wards of the state, give your billing address as 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC.

Obastard promise FREE healthcare, so therefore forward your bill to him.

Hey Who why don't you just pack up your miserable fat a$$ and leave? I'll bet you could start your own website and ask for donations and within 4 hrs you'll have air fare to where ever you want to go.

You don't own anything, or have a job to worry about, so relocating will be easy for you.
