Ah yes, it's time once again for Obama and the rest of his redistribution buddies to return to the work of creating class warfare with the desired result of destroying capitalism. Since the Socialist Party (Democrats) know they will not regain the House of Representatives this year and will, in all likelihood, lose the Senate, the Obama administration is doubling down on its last three years of office. Obama just has to finish the job of ruining America before his time expires, so expect him to resemble Hitler during the next 36 months, minus the dead Jews of course.

He's a nut. The people who elected this nut will get what they deserve from this fool as mayor - an explosion of crime, bureaucracy, waste, inefficiency, and corruption. It will go the way of Detroit.

I AM anti-union and proud of it. I also very highly doubt whether most union members salaries approach what I make in a year. That's the rub Bobbett. Union fools who think they're worth more than the employees in the non-union work environment leads to the exact inequality Obama proposes to hate. Let's get this straight now. Unions had their place back during the Robber Barron days where they did indeed serve a useful purpose defending workers rights. However, somewhere along the way they got greedy and decided to get into bed with the Socialist Party (Democrats) who promised them the world of a worker utopia in exchange for a vote. I'm glad to see that most Americans have discovered what unionized labor actually represents, that being one arm of socialism. As an SEIU employee, you should know this.

I agree with you 100%. Unions are parasites. They extort money from their members with the goal of making ridiculous demands of businesses so that they can drive those companies out of business, while the union bosses get rich off the members' dues and then retire comfortably to their retirement mansions and villas and the regular workers get screwed. Unions also rip off the taxpayers and lie to people.

Look at what the unions did on Obamacare - they forced their members to support it, and then they turned around and demanded that they be exempted from it. What a joke.

Unions are corrupt, evil, outdated, and useless. They just screw the taxpayers big-time.

By all means, continue backing the party that wants to drive the American worker down to the level of the average third world worker..... Your hero Koch Bros explained it best when they made the statement that a person making $15k per/year was in the top 1%........ Of the world! Or maybe you're looking forward to following the advice of Wal-Mart to their employees..... File for welfare because we won't pay you a living wage!

The foolish baggers are the ones who are upset about income equality. A group of lowly educated idiots who would rather see everyone else move down the earnings ladder to the minimum wage jobs they're stuck in.

Sorry, your party doesn't want you to have a second bowl of gruel!

I guess that the HERO label you patriots gave them isn't quite as bright and shiny as it used to be.

Of course then there's the truth.... One union representative helped a small handful of crooked people to game the system for their own profit.

Using your typical bagger whine, I guess we can assume all of those brave NAVY SEALS can be judged by the one liar that Sixty Minutes put on television to boost his book sales!

Bob if you want income equality you'll have to go out and get a job. You can't expect to have the same as normal people if you just sit on your butt and your job is walking to the mail box for your unemployment check.

Yes, Bob, only conservatives considered the 911 responders "heroes". Democrats hated them for racing in to save those greedy people who were working to create all that income inequality.(rolls eyes)

It isn't the R's or C's that want to drive the American worker down to the level of the average third world worker. That's the goal of the D's/Liberals. They are the one's that want open borders so that all those Walmart workers have another 10,000,000 folks who will do those jobs for less. Wages are based on the skill level required of the job and the number of people who can do that job. How many people can stock shelves? 100 million. How many people have the skills to be a surgeon? Several thousands. So surgeons make a lot more.

If I want to hire someone and I'm willing to pay them $15 but 20 people come in, are willing to do the job, have the necessary skills and are willing to do it for $10 then they get paid $10. The only reason to pay the extra $5 is if I'm getting something more for my money.

You talk about business not paying a living wage. Not true. Every business pays employees a living wage IF they have the skills that is worthy of a living wage. "Unskilled labor" has always been around and it has never been paid a "living wage." People aren't paid just because. That is called charity and it is one of the other areas that D/L are horrible at. They would rather take $100 from me, keep $50 for themselves, pay various administrators another $50 and then borrow $10 to give to the unskilled person in exchange for their vote.

One last point. Wages move up, not down the ladder. If we suddenly made $15/hour the minimum wage, then those people who are now making twice minimum wage would get raises up to $30/hour ($60k/year). And those people making $60K would now be worth $120K and so forth. Eventually all goods and services would increase and things would be right where they are.

Getting a living wage is easy and if it isn't, there is a reason why the person isn't EARNING that level of pay.

Koch Brothers again huh Bobbett? Of course, it's all their fault, well them and G.W. too. I guess mommy and daddy never explained to you simple economics and when you receive your economic guidance from radical communists, this is what I expect to come out of your mouth. You live in a closet with zero hope of ever becoming anything other than an angry little fool who's been per-programed to attack any form of free-market principals. America will not be transformed the way you hope Obama will change it. He is already a failure. His strategic moves to cause class warfare will fall on mostly deaf ears.

Love it or leave it Bobbett, cause you sure as s--t ain't seeing socialist utopia here.

You have to understand how Bob and the left see income inequality. If someone makes money, they took it from everyone else. The more the rich have, the less others have. It’s as if the economy is a pie that’s already on the table, waiting to be carved. The bigger the piece the rich take, the less that’s left for everyone else. The Progressives don't understand that entrepreneurs (rich) create things. They take risks. Innovation that makes life better for both the rich and poor. Even poor people today have access to cars, food, health care, entertainment and technology that rich people lusted for a few decades ago. Ninety percent of Americans living “below the poverty line” have smart phones, cable TV and cars. Seventy percent own two cars.

You're absolutely right! Bobbett doesn't understand the metrics of money-flow. If she did, she'd be singing a different tune. I'll add this, if I were to be poor, I'd want to be poor in this country and no other. Maybe some of these progressive dumbbells would do themselves an eye-opening favor and travel the world to see how the poor live in countries other than ours.
