Obama Golfs Ahead of WH Correspondents’ Dinner

GOP aims to slow federal bullet buys

Obama: "I look in the mirror and I have to admit, I'm not the strapping young Muslim socialist that I used to be."

"I remember when Buzzfeed was something I did in college around 2a.m."

What does that have to do with pot??

These correspondent dinners are always joke-fests, but usually they have more to do with gaffes and policies. Never have we seen a president joke about being a Muslim and socialist. Classless.

I've always felt these things were tasteless and insulting to the American public, as presidents have all been involved in decisions that adversely effect lives, possible fatally, and in many cases wars are ongoing. Listening to politicians and comedians make light of the situation creates a disconnect with what real citizens, with real problems, are going through.

There's a time and place for good humor. This president has not solved enough of America's serious issues for this to be one of those times. It would have sent a very powerful message for the president to decline this year's dinner considering the gravity of what the world and America is facing at this time.

Even still, I did have to laugh at Obama in bangs though.

All of these (cough)diners do is prove to me that our government is not what it is supposed to be. Its one big cabal and we can see it when they all get together and yuck it up its right there in our face, its not funny its disgusting. The MSM and every government entity in this country have become the enemy of the people.

I agree with you all, but,...... who washes O's balls when they get in the rough? Does he have "people" for that? Seriously though, everything is mucked up, and twisted now...morality issues are shoved in our faces and what freedom used to mean is quite a bit different than what people want it to mean now. Look at StSteven and Kelp's argument about why soldiers have fought. They say its so pot can be decriminalized. All other issues are probably unimportant, but don't take their pot away.

Wow CO is truly either the worst speaker in the world or the writers had to tone him down to try to make BHO look brilliant. EPIC fail on both parts

I agree and really take these dinners as just more parties that the tax payers are funding. It is for our superiors to have some fun because they work so hard.

Back to the breathalyzer....Somebody read my mind on that. However, the fall-out would be huge. How many people would get fired because they couldn't drive themselves to work?

Just more instruments for the police state to control the servants for the state because that is what matters the most these days the state. Of course there are already instant tests for illicit drugs they use them at my job it takes less than five minutes.

5 minutes really? I did not know that....In that case....let the companies decide whether they want a drug abuser working for them.

Yep its a kit with a big cotton like swab you soak it up good with spit, it fits in a syringe a few drops on a tester and that is it. Now with that said saliva tests are not as accurate as urine or blood, but if one went out some night had a couple hits off a joint well you will probably test positive, on the other hand if one is not a heavy pot smoker of cocaine user you could have a good time on Friday and be clear by Monday funny thing though they never seem to test on Mondays seems like Tues, & Thurs.??

I was just being sarcastic. It is a insult to the taxpayers. They are trash rubbing it in our faces. They have working hours to get the business done that needs to be done. The food and drinks have nothing to do with legislation. It is purely a insult and if any of them were really worth the sh!t they would stand up and say that. Just like all these other perks government officials get. When I look at their pay, perks, vacation time it looks like they treat themselves superior to the people that pay their salary. Both parties are trash, one is just a bit cleaner than the other.

Piers Morgan Bill O'Rielly and ? the cast of Duck Dynasty?? whats that. All together at this weird dinner tells me that The media the government and the entertainment industry are all in it together to make fools out of the rest of us this whole thing is just plain weird. A true patriotic person would never attend a function of this type.

You continue to prove yourself unworthy of debate. You really have no clue do you? I'm not looking for someone with a 180 IQ, just somone who can grasp the general points of a discussion and contribute something worth reading. Is that too much to ask?

My argument has noting to do with soldiers fighting for pot legalization. They fight to keep us a democracy which allows the people a voice and the option to V-O-T-E, which is what the people did...they voted.
