I'm tired of politics and bad news. Let's post some memories we all have of places and things that used to be. A walk down memory lane, if you will. Remember the old Beltline Drive in that had Bugs Bunny and Goofy, I think on the sign?

The Reptile House down town. It wasn't the cleanest place in town but it had a good vibe. My brother took me there for my first drink(at a bar)when I turned 21. Another good time at Reptile House was when Anthrax played there which was crazy given you could only fit maybe 100 people inside and there were about 300 crazy fans there that night.

At night, they were outlined in neon, and there was a mini golf course in front, on the 28th street side. Just down the street was was the Village Inn pizza parlour. Wyoming used to be such a great place to be, now, from what I hear, I'd be really sorry to come back and see what it's become. Sad.

Ice skating on the ponds at John Ball and Richmond Park. They used to flood an area behind the grandstand at Valley Field too. Sullivans games.

My Grandma had a picture from a plane showing 28th street in the early 40's. All you can see is the drive-in theater that was studio 28, and all the rest on both sides are corn fields, nothing else.

Also had jump land in front of the Beltline Drive-in. I remember going there for my 10th birthday party. Anyone remember the Come-Back (It was spelled differently, but topix's thinks it is a bad word) Resturant on 28th St., near Michael. I can remember my parents taken us kids there. Best burgers in town.
