Let's be real here. Do we really need constant coverage or even frequent breaking news coverage because of the weather? If a tornado is spotted, fine. Otherwise, show me the little picture on the bottom of the page. This happened all winter every time it snowed more than 2 inches. NOT fascinating t.v., and really not necessary. I especially dislike hearing the anchors ad lib with their "call ins" from around the area. Please. I do not care that the trees in Joe Schmo's back yard are really moving or that the bird bath in front is near to overflowing.

Maybe you should get cable TV. Most of those channels don't have news coverage.

I sure am glad that a few chose to make a decision for us what to watch. I wonder if it would be the same people b_tching if the storm struck and they would be complaining that there was not enough coverage or warning. Change the channel. Gotta go breaking weather coming on!! LOL

Geha is so extremely unprofessional that I can't stand to watch her. It's so obvious when she gets excited and shows no objectivity. Her eyebrows go up, her voice gets so nasal, it's so obvious! I can't believe she's been in that business for so many years with such unpleasant voice and cheesy demeanor. I remember a couple years ago during some severe weather they were taking live calls on the air and she took a couple of crank calls on the air that made her look like a fool. I laughed for a week thinking about it.

Those storms were weak. Come down here, or head to Kansas/Iowa/Oklahoma/Missouri, where there be real storms.

Jesse Holman ~ That is one amazing picture! One of the best I have seen lately. Sometimes they show pictures of everyday rain clouds and weather. But that is a great storm photo!

And to ~Lucifer~ your name speaks for itself. People like you have nothing better to do that get on these sites to make ignorant comments! Find something more constructive to do with your life, because obviously you don't have one!

LMAO - Those weather guys in OK were like that too. Linda Page always kept cool there though, just like she does here.

Do you mean she doesn't look, act or talk like a fool when she isn't receiving prank phone calls? LAMO. Of all the newscaster in the Grand Rapids area she has to be the worst!

If you're not smart enough to notice when the wind is blowing the trees over til the top touches the ground, and get thine hiney to the basement, ya deserve to go to Oz. If the meteorologists are so fascinated with their million dollar technology, maybe they should find a separate channel to micro-manage every cloud. The rest of us don't watch tv for that.

does everyone actually watch that much TV that it is that big of a deal? And even if we are watching we just turn the channel if we want. it's nice that they do have the high tech. equipment.
