Another GOP opponent of gay rights gets busted.
CA republican state senator Roy Ashburn was arrested for drunk driving in a state-owned vehicle... after leaving a gay nightclub. The state senator had an unidentified man with him in the passenger seat.
Oh...and he's roman catholic, too.

I am not....... Arctic seems to have dislike of the guy because he is gay. Or is it that he was drunk driving which is a problem for all people.....

Well at least he didn't drive in the water and drown his date.

Clearly Fartic is anti-gay or are you just anti-gay if it's a republican gay.

How many times again did Patrick Kennedy get drunk, crash and repeat? Oh he did rehab twice so it's all good.

Read up on Sen Ashburn ... he is one of the loudest anti-gay activitists in the California House.

Just because he goes against the radical gay agenda and their desire for extra special rights above the rest of Americans, doesn't mean he can't be himself...... The left if full of haters......

I'm seeing a regular tactic of the right these days. When a topic or event comes up that shows their hypocrisy and it is brought to attention, suddenly the person bringing the topic to light is accused of it. Like Artic is anti-gay because he brings this topic up, talk about smoke and mirrors. It's getting old and folks aren't buying into as readily these days.

It's not hate, but "in your face" hypocrisy .. Sen Ashburn, the "family values guy" from So Cal, anti-gay proponent, married with 4 kids, picked up DUI at 2am with blood-alcohol at .14 after leaving "Faces", a gay bar, with a male companion, in a state owned vehicle.

I am not even bringing up his political affiliation into the equation, you did.

Its been proven. Those with the most homophobic feelings are generally the ones who question their own sexuality.

What do you consider extra special rights? Are you against gay marraige? If so why? Why can't they get married and have the benefits that a man and women in marriage have? Are they hurting you? Why should they have the stigma on them that the mixed marriage used to have years ago? The fact is that they shouldn't. They should be able to live happy and productive lives. You don't want government to intrude on your life, it shouldn't intrude on their life either.

Or is is the one to have sex in the whitehouse with subordinates while married and then lie to the court.

Hmm mabye I should try some of those, like the one I get $90,000 and hide it in the freezer that I got from some guy and I happen to be a senater.

Or should i be a new york govenor or.........

But we can't go there can we? This country was in a mess way before Obama took office. We can't say that though either. Good read. Thanks
