I almost felt sorry for Obama because it was pretty obvious that he was unprepaired for it.
I think Romney failed to put Obama to the point.
He really had a good opportunity last night to call Obama out on what has been going on over the past four years.
$80 Billion in stimulus money going to Obama campaign contributors?
We all know how much those Solyndra executive's made out with!
Isnt it just a coincedence that they all were Obama supporters?
I think Romney held back.
He was trying to be polite.

I am looking forward to the Ryan / Biden debare

Considering Chris Matthews is currently being peeled off the floor from his ongoing tantrum and the unsuspecting moderator has been excoriated by the leftist media for virtually no reason other than Obama got his hat handed to him, I'd say things went very well indeed for Romney.

It seems to me Team Obama made a calculated decision to not get drawn into a fight and show an angry and thin-skinned Obama. It left Obama looking sulky, disengaged and full of scowls, while Romney was left to trounce him unimpeded.

Obama had plenty of opportunities to pounce on Romney's 47% statement, Mass. health care record and lack of overall specifics regarding his tax plan. Instead, Romney looked like an experienced business owner schooling a college student on the difference between reality and classroom.

It was a mistake on Obama's handler's part and I suspect we'll see the angry, thin-skinned Obama in full arrogance next time because that 's exactly what the left wants. In fact, since Obama got his lip-fattened he's been running around like a scolded puppy saying all those nasty little one-liners he didn't have a teleprompter to help him with during the debates.

Romney, on the other hand, has made his own calculated decision in taking back the ill-advised 47% statement while riding a high after his debate victory. We'll see how that works for him, but I suspect the damage has already been done and his reversal will only further the left's attacks on his being a flip-flopper.

I thought Romney did much better. His looking at the President, while Obama often looked down was much better body language. I think Romney also came across as more real....a quality, that has been tough for him, considering his wealth status....i still think, he is kinda short on details....

Interesting Romney's "wealth status" is such an issue with liberals while Obama's is not.

Obama is fairly new to wealth...Romney, like GW, was born a millionaire....Reagan came up from humble beginnings....I'm just not comfortable with another entitled, spoiled republican.....i feel, they are often too far removed from many of our upbringings....i worked in a steel mill in highschool, and many in my family grew up on farms and working in carpentry...to me, they ofen don't relate well....

Really, Blue? I don't know. The whole my father was a communist and I was mentored by one too thing sort of disassociates most Americans with Obama.

But if you want to ignore the socialist upbringing thing, I'm not sure little Barack ever actually had a job. In fact, he wrote in one of his books that he used cocaine, pot and drank alcohol in high school - no word of an actual job. That doesn't sounds like it reflects your background, does it?

After college he became a community organizer. That's not exactly reflective of the sweat and grime of a steel mill or the callused hands of a carpenter, is it?

I held a number of jobs when I was in high school and through college too. Everything from working for a construction company to working in a hospital, to sporting goods, to working for my dad at his company.

We weren't rich and we weren't poor, but there is no way in hell I can look at Barack Obama's upbringing and say I can relate to that. I have a sneaking suspicion most people who support Obama and consider Romney "too far removed" either don't know or don't give a damn about Barack Obama's upbringing or financial status.

It's not just the job thing but that he didn't have to work AT anything either. Private schools growing up and then he attended the prestigious Occidental College in California. He admitted in his book and elsewhere that he was engaged in heavy drug use while in high school. This seems to show that his studies were the last thing on his mind. How he got in remains a mystery.

Obama finished up his undergraduate years at Columbia College, where he did not graduate with honors. Then he was admitted to Harvard Law School even though he didn't have the grades at Columbia to get in.

Keep going and he really didn't work at anything. He was a community organizer for just a few years. Financial lawyer for a couple. It doesn't seem like he did anything for any length of time.

So like you, I don't understand how people can say that Obama can relate to them and their situation.

According to Gore, Obama possible suffered a from altitude sickness being in Denver.

If that's the case, the official White House Sherpa should be fired.

Base camp Barry trip to Denver put him in the death zone and did he didn't leave the mountain alive.
