Oh come on ... that's just a complete and total denial of reality. If you expect people to engage in intelligent discussion with you than you at least have to accept the most basic and irrefutable facts.

When polled on the actual contents of the ACA, people are mostly supportive. Only when it's called "Obamacare" does its support drop.

Which shows that opposition to it is based on politics, not actual policy.

Sure Box - if someone were to ask you if you want everyone to have affordable health care they're going to say yes. If someone were to ask you if they support the idea that if you like your current insurance you can keep it, they'd say yes. If someone were to ask you if you like the idea of less expensive and better insurance you'd say yes.

We're not talking about parsing through the fluffy promises of ACA and asking if people like the idea. Of course it all sounds wonderful from betwixt styrofoam columns and a glossy smile. But as this thing has unrolled and people are beginning to see what Nancy Pelosi was hiding behind her gift-wrapping comment of "you have to vote for before you see what's inside it", those fluffy promises are turning out to be anything but what was promised.

Reality Check: When asked if people like what they've seen so far from this train wreck, call it ACA, Obamacare, HumptyCumpty or whatever, it is resoundingly and overwhelmingly NO!

Have conservatives EVER been called racists, both fairly and unfairly? Of course.
Do they get called racists every time they disagree with a progressive policy? Hell no. That's absurd. And playing the victim.
Not playing the victim here. That would imply that those who throw that label at me are empowered to do so. I don't grant them that power, nor do I grant it to you. I control my own thoughts and actions not anyone else's thoughts or actions. I also am accountable only for my own. And yes, merely disagreeing with Obama earns one the racist label. Don't think so? You should come up for a breath of fresh air now and then, lest you suffocate in your own Bull-zhit cluck-cluck. Calling you a joke gives you way too much credit. How many times can you be wrong or Lie in a day? Shall I count the ways?

since you lack the skills to count anything, I would say no. Save yourself some more frustration. You seem to have enough every day without adding to it. As for lying, looking in the mirror yet again?

Oh, I see. You're insane.
I'm as sane as they come. That's why I can see things that you cannot politically speaking. Now let's see, Obama the moderate?

1. Speaks of single-payer
2. Wants amnesty for illegal aliens
3. Agrees with firearm bans like the AWB and the N.Y. Safe Act
4. Hires known socialists and communists to his cabinet and czars
5. Takes an anti-fossil fuel position and is a global-warming mouthpiece
6. Gives full support to teachers unions
7. Pro gay
etc, etc, etc.

This is the most leftist piece of garbage we've ever seen in the White House and I'm absolutely positive that you support his every move.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. Obama does seem to have a soft spot for Muslim fundamentalists (Sharia law proponents) doesn't he?

And if republicans thought up this crap way back when, that is also wrong, so now we get the T party and those old republicans are just as sick as Obama.

ALL the laws regarding healthcare cost should be placed on hospitals, doctors, lawyers and insurance companies and drug companies and or equipment and supplies companies.

Who says what the price is, I say 10 bucks a stitch, they say $1000 for looking at the inside of the building and you didn't even get looked at yet.

No but no, we get this, the collective, crap, same as Stalin and all the rest of those extremist dictators.

Here's a prime example of how the right wing fanatics get their feet all tangled up in the truth.....

So you and the Jagoff from Jenison claim that President Obama is responsible for the Muslim Brotherhood taking over in Egypt.

I can still remember all of the Faux Outrage being spewed out that the president was giving them all of these top of the line weapons to their military.....

Would you care to acknowledge who it was that kicked the fundamentalist's out of office?

No, we're talking about fluffy promises. We're talking about policies.
People are in favor of healthcare exchanges.
People are in favor of prohibiting insurers from denying people with pre-existing conditions.
People are in favor of children being able to be on their parents insurance longer.
People are in favor of prohibiting insurers from dropping people once they get sick.
People are in favor of the Medicaid expansion.
People are in favor of the spending controls.
But when you call all these things "Obamacare", they suddenly don't like it.

Amazing how a couple anonymous people posting on an internet message board expanded into a generalization about all political discourse in America.

1. Single-payer is what most first-world nations have. It's not radical left.
2. A "pathway to citizenship" policy isn't blanket amnesty. Not radical left.
3. Neither of these gun control efforts is radical. You can argue they're bad policy; but they're not radical.
4. RED SCARE RED SCARE RED SCARE

6. Not even remotely radical left.

Firstly, I'm not your friend. Secondly, you are an utter moron almost as bad as Bob and pipedream, maybe worse. I think those two come out here more for spite then for anything else but in your case, you actually believe the crap you say. Everything Obama believes in IS RADICAL LEFT!!!! If you can't see that then your parents failed you. You're in the running for the Bloated Belly From Drinking Too Much Kool Aide Award.

Nope, can't stand whining so I don't do it. As for your next comment, perhaps you don't pay attention to MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, Huffington Post, etc, etc, etc??? Because anyone who has disagreed with Obama from 2007 going forward has been labeled a racist, a bigot, and liars. So, no, not a "generalization" of the political discourse in this country, a statement of fact that can be proven in any day or time with evidence. Amazing how ignoring it makes one believe it didn't happen.
