It would have been nice to see judge-it options that included blind, pathetic, and delusional, as the author and anyone who agreed with this blathering, such as you, would have justly earned. I will give credit though for the ability to ignore actual recent history in a lame attempt to see the glass as partially full rather than the actual glass that is damn near empty.

Even the lowly educated conservatives had to have witnessed a weak speaker of the house fail moving any plan to avoid the fiscal cliff through a chamber of congress controlled by his own party. I guess the author and those that ignore facts forgot that Blubbering Boehner punted the ball to the Democrats when his teabagger hijacked majority couldn't figure out how the legislative process works. Only the insane would think that having to rely on the Senate to pass a bill that required Democratic votes to pass in the House he controls as anything other than the butt kicking that it really was.

And now you're going to dance in the streets because this same group couldn't handle the business of raising the debt ceiling, and decided to once again take the path of least resistance by kicking that can down the road.

Bring on the Sequester....... The Democrats need to post another win!

We agree on something Bob. I have thought for a very long time that there should be a "stupid" and "dumber than a box of rocks" judge it. You, of course, would have the crown for the most of those particular judge its.

Nice to see your comprehension skills are still lacking. It gives one faith in the education system that you libs keep insisting needs to have more money thrown at it.

Fortunately for you, it would be almost impossible to come up with a symbol for throwing a hotdog down a ancient sand encrusted hallway.......

Thank you for proving that a lack of a basic education won't allow you to argue any of the points brought up by the author........ Who most likely has one of those nasty college degrees you are so afraid of!

I have seen two types of people with degrees.... One set that are able to get one but can't apply it because their instructors indoctrinated them in fairytale beliefs... The other get theirs and apply street smarts and use their degree to open doors and become successful in the private sector......

Comprehension skills? So all you got out of the article was the chest thumping 'we win again' tone huh. You said on another thread that Obama NEVER compromises on ANYTHING EVER. So where he does and its in your perspectives favor Obama takes a defeat.

You must seriously like the political gamesmanship more than anything else. When Boehner says who'd have thought we would get 99% of the Bush tax cuts made permanent doesn't point out loud and clear to you he ADMITS the cuts were and meant to be, by his own party, temporary?

So now the tax cuts are permanent causing less revenue to pay the debt it's another victory to hold off on raising the debt ceiling.? See how that works in your private life. Reduce your income, cut your spending while costs continually increase around you, and even if you are completely out of debt see how long you last. See how it would work if you had a landlord that gave you a couple of months pass on rent so you could catch up and then you believing you didn't have to pay rent anymore.

Now I suppose your comprehension wouldn't catch that that's a metaphor and I'm not trying to say the government is a landlord.

As much as you'd like to it wouldn't matter, the government going under is not going to bod well for anyone in the country. And no it's not the way it works that any government is supposed to work for just one faction in the country.
