How about you go back and READ my post of what was covered. I know it's not "See Spot Run" but at least you have the Dick part right... maybe..
With a $10,000.00 deductible, how is someone going to be able to pay the hospital bill? And after the deductible, there is another amount in coinsurance costs.
So you take someone who is already struggling to make ends meet. Their hours have been cut because now they can't work more than 30 hours a week because their employer isn't willing to pay the costs themselves. So they go for the policy they can afford, on top of everything else that is already in their stretched to the max budget and the DO get sick. Now they have to cough up their deductible costs on top of everything else.
Maybe you should stop kissing the democrat leaders asses and pay attention to the REAL world.
Oh and by the way Mr. ASSumptions? This isn't my insurance policy. It was an example. Obviously your stupid-flakes made you read something that wasn't there.
"at least you have the Dick part right..."

YES, I do have one of those. Too bad that with your attitude, it's probably been quite some time since you've had one!

I guess you missed the patriot line about DEEP DISCOUNTS FOR CASH, and the part where I suggested getting a real job that offers decent pay and benefits..... Just saying.

"Oh and by the way Mr. ASSumptions? This isn't my insurance policy. It was an example."

LMFAO..... "Neecer" is using "Relly's" favorite line. Imagine the confusion as to who you are....... Thanks Edna!

Like most of the patriots around here, I see you've resorted to bellowing all of the Koch Bros talking points without providing any specific proof........ I wonder why that is?
Seeing as how your only answer is the DEEPLY DISCOUNTED cash alternative to health care...... Why don't you provide us with a link to what those DEEP DISCOUNTS are for cash? Prove to us that we should all be paying cash because it is cheaper than the insurance premiums that you can't afford to pay!
Then, why don't you tell us where your "heard" that report about the guy's premium jumping so high...... Fortunately for you, you don't have to provide a link to something you heard! Sort of like the person I "heard" about that had his premiums cut in half......
Finally, if you had bothered to read it, I already explained that my employer would include me in their company's program if the need arose..... But I guess reading and comprehension never has been a skill taught in home schools!
Hahahah By Jove, I think you're right! Reading and comprehension never were skills taught in home schools.

Now Bob I do hope you realize these people are like broken records or chatty Cathy wind up dolls. You know you'll see them again right? But next time it will be with even more stupid and a dash of vengeance added.

Talk about broken records. One person playing two roles gets confusing sometimes don't it answering yourself patting yourself on the back because you think you have all the answers for everyone, or you play the gotcha game, and then someone comes along and disagrees has a different point of view from the conformists, as yourselves who just want to comply with laws that are unjust and of course your fear, then you make assumptions about how they live, or their job, makes you look like the fool(s)you are.

It's already been done once. Your short attention span is not my problem. How ever did your get through grad school with a memory that bad? LOL...of course the answer is that you didn't. You would have been lucky to get a GED with your cognitive abilities. Can't remeber what those discounts looked like? Google it yourself, pippybob.

Shoeless YOU are hopelessly stuck on stupid. But your opposition to ACA, like the GOP and the lunatic fringe, is deeply ironic.

Republicans were the ones who initially demanded it be based on private insurance, and be paid for with a combination of subsidies for low-income purchasers and a requirement that the younger and healthier sign up. A Republican President (Richard Nixon) came close to enacting such a plan. A Republican think tank (Heritage Foundation) provided the details. A Republican governor (Mitt Romney) did a trial run (in Massachusetts)and it was applauded and widely received. Yet now that the essential Republican plan for comprehensive health insurance is being implemented nationally, Republicans and the lunatic fringe are furious and indignant.

Maybe Democrats should have stuck to their original vision and built it on Social Security and Medicare, it would have been cheaper, simpler, and more widely accepted by the public.

Then shoeless, you and your crazy bruthas and sistas on here would 'Really' have something to cry, whine and complain about.

Keep on rolling the dice shoeless. You can at least feel like you're at the casino.

Already know you're stuck on stupid but what are you disagreeing with my post lil stinker? Everything I posted is TRUE and verifiable. You like so many of your compatriots don't even realize the ACA was a GOP idea.

And I'll let Bob correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe his reference to "Deep Discounts for cash" referred to those of you -- like yourself -- who prefer not paying premiums on a policy but rather paying for health care with Cash as they go.

So let see if I have this right. You don't need the ACA because it is offered through your employer. Yet you said and I'll quote you here " Its better in the long run than what has been going on for the past 7 decades." So my question still remains is this. Why wouldn't you cancel your employers insurance and sign up for the ACA which as you said is better in the long run?

Oh wait I see. It is good enough for others to have it but not good enough for you. It's funny that those who are pushing for this ACA are the very ones who refuse to sign up themselves.

No stupid. The point I was making, ACA is better for sloughs like yourself and will certainly be better for the millions of people who couldn't get health insurance, either because it wasn't offered thru their employers, or for a variety of other reasons was either not affordable or otherwise not obtainable by them, like it has been previously for decades for millions of Americans.

Now just STFU.

Again, I don't need it because I already have a policy I like thru my employer.

Nope the judging icons don't bother me either. Again, I just found it hilarious that at the very same time you posted your sheep comment to Bob, the icons appeared on my comment. Wasn't you eh lil stinker? Just a coincidence? I think not.

I don't need to be in ACA. I have a policy thru my employer. Get that thru your thick skull. Apparently you don't need go to the exchanges either if you have your own policy on the open market. You have at least 20 employees who are helping you pay your premiums thru the profits you're making thru their labors. Tell you what F-stick, if you think what you're paying for your employees premiums, or even for your own, are too high, then just stop paying for it. ACA doesn't require you do anything since you're supposed firm has less than 50 employees. Drop your employee plan and pay them money instead and let them go to the exchanges. You don't like what you're paying for your own, then drop it and go to the exchanges. If you don't like that then don't have a policy and roll the dice. When you do that, then you can STFU so we don't have to hear you cry, belly-ache and complain.
You might be on to something here Pipester. Here's a thought. I cancel everyone's insurance yet they contribute a portion of their pay to a account, kind of like a healthcare spending account. I will still contribute what I was planning on to this account, or pool. Everyone puts money into this "pool", and from that "pool" I pay their healthcare costs with cash payment options. Most doctors offices give discounts to those paying with cash. This could be a money savings for us. Thanks for the idea.

Because I already have a policy I like thru my employer A$$HOLE. Why is that such a hard concept for you, and apparently the others on here stuck on stupid, to understand? There's no trickery or fraud going on here shit-4-brains. I don't need to sign up for ACA PERIOD. and another thing. You, if we are to believe what you say about being an employer of less than 50 employees, don't have to comply with it either. You're exempt unless you want to avail yourself with the credits and other tax advantages offered under ACA.

Do yourself and everyone else here a favor and just STFU.

That's a cost analysis decision you can and should make. Its also a cost analysis decision your employees should make.

Another thing, it always has been and will remain so, that health care coverage, i.e. paying the premiums, deductibles and co-pays will always be cheaper in the long run than not having it at all, and rolling the dice, like some of you idiots do and have done. I have insurance, always have had coverage of one kind or another during my lifetime and a while back was injured and had to go to the ER. The costs for repair my injury during my short stay in emergency were staggering. To be quite honest, I could have NEVER paid the bill out of my own pocket had I not been insured.

Better hope your employers meets the requirements for Obamacare. It appears that are dropping millions from their policies.

I get that. I know you do. But don't you find it odd and funny that you are one of those on here saying how good it is and how wonderful this is. But I don't NEED it or WANT it so I'm not going to sign up for it. My point is this. IF THIS IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE OUT THERE, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULDN'T YOU BE THE FIRST TO SIGN UP FOR IT? The point isn't if you need it or not. The point is if this is such a great system you would be a fool not to sign up. Apparently you are a fool as you won't sign on to ACA
