First off, let me state I am not a bitter lottery loser. I play our Michigan (draw) Lottery understanding the odds ratio of win or lose. However as of lately, the Michigan Lottery website has undergone a change which supposedly benefits lottery players with ease of understanding and ease of play. This recent change is no more than a ploy to lead lottery players down a bogus path. Of course I play the odds... and attempt to play them in my favor. Who wouldn't? However, I see the latest edition of odds (in particular Club Keno) posts frequency of winning numbers so far from reality... it is nothing more than a joke perpetrated on those who may believe our state lottery has any honesty within. The percentage odds of number plays and frequencies are false. Who oversees individual state lotteries? The state itself. My opinion is that all state lotteries should be overseen by an unbiased entity. I have no issue with losing a bet, but when the cards are stacked? Hell yes... I have a problem with it. For the egg heads out there like me... just punch in the numbers and see for yourself. Fair is fair, win lose or otherwise. However, once again, the Michigan Lottery system deceives.

Of course the simple solution to save yourself from being robbed by a supposed crooked gambling scheme would be to not play......

But I can understand your frustration when these people are standing in the way of funding your retirement account!

Without even considering the possible merits of my post, you try to appear quick witted with sarcasm. Were you born a smart ass... or did your poppa waste all that college tuition?

Fund you...

YES....... I was born a smart-ass!

And anyone who wastes their money buying lottery tickets or visiting a casino in the hope of getting rich... Or who complains that the odds are stacked against them...... Was born a dumb one!

Case Closed - Epic Fail !!!!

I am always sure to understand the odd ratios of any given wager. My issue is with the state falsifying the odds to entice people. Not only deceptive, but illegal.

Epic Fail? A good beginning might be to quote something other than your life accomplishments thus far. I see that tuition money was well spent... LMAO. Feel free to reply and strut your ignorant intellectual attire. You garner my attention... not.

I'm sorry, I must apologize for my son's idiotic comments.
I wish he would look for a job instead of sitting in his room posting such garbage on topix all day.
Please forgive me for raising such an idiot!
Maybe I shouldn't have been doing meth before I breast feed him?

Stop making fun of Bob, he deserves more respect and some government handouts. He voted for Obama twice and is still waiting for Obama to pay his rent.

Agreed.

Did you see the news that the State of New Jersey is now going to allow legal on-line gambling?

Now those employees that embezzle millions from the companies they work for can now do it from the comfort of their chair at work!

So you're ALWAYS sure of the odds before you place a bet........ And even then, you can't help but throw your money away!

The world is full of idiots who don't understand that the only winner in a game of chance is the guy that is making the rules and deciding on what the odds are. But for all of you addicted fools, I'll give you a sure thing to bet on.........

Always put your money on the fact that the typical West Michigan CRC member is going to play the homophobe card when faced with the truth.

Seem's that life in New Jersey, likely has many dangers, without that....I've alway's wondered how popular the Powerball might be, if instead of one person winning $350 million, why not have 350 people win one million?
