HBO's Bill Maher: "I thought when we elected a black president, we were going to get a black president. You know, this [BP oil spill] is where I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting with the BP CEOs, you know, where he lifts up his shirt where you can see the gun in his pants. That's --(in black man voice)'we've got a motherfu**ing problem here?' Shoot somebody in the foot."

Allright you left wing nuts, try and defend this crap or spin it. This is clear cut racist. No question about it. Where is Sharpton, Jackson, or any Dem complaiing about this? Or are you just racist when you disagree with Obama? November is coming....

Not going to defend it but come on. Are you that unfamiliar with Bill Maher?

There's nothing I can say that you won't call trying to spin it as you've made up your mind to the point where anything said contrary, or appearing to be contrary, to your assessment is, well, trying to spin it.

C'mon SIB, the "R" word has been thrown about at anyone who dares to disagree with the present administration. Now, you say, "consider the source" when this is so obviously a racist statement! And you wonder why we call it spin? Why not just condemn it because that would be the right thing to do?

He is after all a comedian and political satirist, always on the edge. He was making a point here not being racist. The GOP/Teabaggers don't know racism when they see it. A candidate is critical of the Civil Rights laws prohibiting discrimination in privately owned public accomodations and they don't see any racism. A comedian calls for some good old fashioned hip hop style outrage from the first black president toward BP and the Teabaggers want to the comedian's scalp.

Our black president should start acting like a president period, I don't care what color. His priorities are exactly where we told you they'd be - right up George Soros and the other moonbat progressives' butts.

He shouldn't be allowed in the White House cafeteria let alone the oval office.

Can't people forget President Obama is black for 5 minutes?

Can you imagine being defined by your skin color by everyone - Liberal and Conservative, every dang day?

Guess you should send him and good ole Rahm an e-mail to ask them to downplay his color, eh????

I never said consider the source. Bill Maher has one of the most astute political minds out there and just uses it in sarcastic ways. I rather like the way he expresses the obvious...in reverse so to speak.

Oh I got it. He wasn't being racist. He was sarcastically pointing out the denied reality.

Bone up to reality for a change. The right hasn't believed he could, would, or even given him the chance from the time he announced his candidacy.

Take a look at what the British said about the revolutionary founders of this country.

So tell us why he shouldn't even be "allowed in the White House cafeteria let alone the oval office". Ya know there are lots of people who go into the oval office, why shouldn't he be allowed in? I don't know if they even have a cafeteria in the White House but why shouldn't he even be allowed in if they do pray tell.

The whole point is it doesn't matter one whit about his color. He really should try being a leader, not an arrogant, elitist fool who pretends to be President.

Are Bill Maher or Michael Richards running for office. You Teabaggers try to resurrect the Confederacy with a Tea Party Express tour that looks like a minstrel show and characters like Paul and Palin but the best you can come up with is Maher and Richards. Who gives a F about Maher and Richards, they are comedians, Paul wants to be a Senator and Palin wants to be, dare I say it, President.

That tramp married yet?

He should be respected because he is President, not because he is black. The most troubling part of this whole Paul thing is that he confirmed what was suspected from observing all the lily white Teabagger rally crowds. It is just another updated version of the Nixon southern strategy brought to us by Dick Armey. They are preying on the crackers fear of minorities with attacks on our first black President, immigration fear mongering and now discussion of repealing Civil Rights laws. Keep it up, it will backfire, the Teabaggers have already proved then are the best thing to happen to the Dems in 2010.

Maybe if he would have done something besides vote 'present' before he ran for President he would have more of a chance. And he was a senator for what, all of 18 months of voting 'present' before he started on the campaign trail?

But then again, the left never gives ANY President OR Presidential Candidate a chance either. Why is it any different when it's a Democrat?

Rush and Glenn aren't running for any sort of office either, yet you and everyone else on the left have your panties in such a bunch over ANYTHING they say it would take a crow bar to dig them out of the crack of your azz.

Are you don't stalking Bristol yet Pete?

No Pete, you are proving that YOU and the rest are the best thing that could ever happen to the Dems in 2010.

You mean he deserves as much respect as President as you gave President Bush right? After all, he was respected as President. No one called for his assassination or compared Bush to Hitler, right?
