Mandie, sweetheart, no one has said anything mean about this tragedy for the last 26 posts at least. I think the meanies are gone to be mean somewhere else. He is a great kid & he will get better because he has good friends who will encourage him to!! He obviously has a great family & being at Mary Free Bed, he will get the best care & therapy. They are the best in Michigan!! Visit him & let him know he's cared about. God bless you!!

You've got that right!! God is good & he is answering our prayers. Sheldon is a miracle, praise the Lord!
The meanies have certainly moved on. They don't like it when they are ignored!

you know maybe you should invent that it would give you something to do besides coming on here and bad mouthing people that we really care about. now if you dont mind go find someone else to pick on and leave Sheldon alone, he has been through enough and does not need to read anymore crap from people like you.
Sheldon keep up the good work, we hope that you get to come home soon. we all love you.

Sheldon is talking a lot and is doing very good. He is getting better each and everyday. He hasn't been hungry and isn't eating that much but is drinking a lot. He still has the same interests and remembers almost everything. He still has the smart remarks and is very persistent. Thank you to everybody who has been praying and who continues to pray!

<quoted text>Nope, probably not. I did stuff like this as a teenager. I watched my kids do the same thing and I expect that my grandchildren will do the same. There is something about being a teenager that defies definition. You think you are indestructible at that age.
My sincere thoughts and prayers for the family and friends of this young man.
I also did stuff like this as a teenager. We were fortunate no one got hurt. It always break my heart to see stuff like this, because I know they were not thinking and now thier families are suffering for the loss of such a young life. It will continue to do stupit shit one generation after another, and kids will continue to get hurt.

Prayer are being sent everyday for Sheldon and his family, also for his friends. This could ahve been so much worse but thankfully our God is faithful to those who love him and are sincere in their prayers. You Go Sheldon and Keep up the good work. You'll be home in no time bugging your mom and dad just as before!

This is so unneeded, why do kids have to act that way

Well we act that way because we are teenagers, yah sometimes our choices are in the moment and not long term but that's pretty much how we teens usually think. We try to have fun and yes, sometimes show off...if you don't remember being one, theres your answer.

Post 160- I think you answered your own question. Kids have to act that way because they are KIDS. They have so much energy for life that they don't think of the What If's. My kids never thought about that either from some of the stunts they pulled, but Thank God they were never hurt this serverly. Being a strong Christian, The only thing I can do for kids like Sheldon is pray to my Lord that he will heal him and he'll be lucky enough to get his life back as before the accident. My prayers are with him daily and I check daily to see if there are any new updates. The kids don't realize the pain and worry they cause their parents and the people that love him so they also need our prayers. Have a good day and may God Bless you all today.
