Everyone on that bus has to think "thank God he didn't sit next to me"; but it could have happened to any one of them. The trauma and nightmares will stay with these people forever. Thank God they didn't let him get away. Does Canada have the death penalty or a life sentence without parole? We can only hope so!

Makes you wonder if the guy took "Zorro" a bit too far, eh? I've never seen Zorro but I don't think there's any decapitation in there...
Wow...I heard that on the news earlier....it makes me afraid to take the Greyhound just to Detroit now, you never know what is going to happen...

Canada has strict gun laws. Seems like I read that the victim was asleep and listening to headphones, but I feel this shows even with gun control violent crimes happen.

Too bad gun laws are so strict in good old socialist Canada.

Somebody should have taken this freak out, permanently.

And none of the other passnegers tried to stop it? What's wrong with people? This is a perfect example of why there should be a death penalty (in Canada and all of the US). This person should get the death penalty tomorrow no questions asked. A true scumbag.

Oh yes. Guns are always the answer.(not) If only another passenger had a gun they could haven "taken the freak out"....so long as the person who had a gun could get it out in time and actually shoot the person quick enough and well enough to take him out (and all without shooting and killing any other passengers and/or endangering their safety as well). The scumbag could have been stopped without a gun. Unfortunately none of the other passengers did a thing. As I said in a previous post he should be put to death instantly in any country for that crime. No trial is needed. And perhaps the other passengers should be held accountable. Why did they not help? Makes no sense.

I hate taking greyhounds. I remember one trip where a guy sat next to me and we started talking and when we started to get into GR he asked for my number, luckily I gave it to him because right after I gave it to him he said "Im going to call it just to make sure you gave me the right one"...Some people are creepy. Who knows what would have happened if I had given him the rejection hotline #.
