I know. Obama is a rabid socialist who actually wants the economy weak so he can get more individuals on the government dole. That's the only way he can fundamentally "transform" America. I have countered that misrepresentation several times on here saying the President of the United States can not create jobs. It's not within his Constitutional authority.

The government can create jobs and it does. It would in no way be proper to misrepresent that to mean the president. So yes Obama and Romney were politicizing they (each) would create jobs.

Not expecting you would read these on the subject of government creating jobs but I'll post them anyway.

I don't disagree that the president has limited power to create jobs, however he can infuence policy that companies will use to determine if they should create jobs. He continues to make those who create jobs targets of his class warfare, and guess what, they have not created jobs in the U.S. as a result.

You mean like Bush policy influence to create jobs? Bush increased jobs in the public sector while losing jobs in the private sector. Whereas under Obama jobs lost in the public sector and gained jobs in the private sector.

Don't you wonder how the recession was Bush's fault and the high unemployment was Bush's fault and the high gas prices were Bush's fault? Yet Obama has been President for 4 years and the gas prices are higher than when he took office, unemployment is still hovering around 8% and the recovery is plodding along and yet it's still Bush's fault?
