Detroit Warren and Flint are the result of a republican/corporate co op. If republicans had their way every city in America would be raped by corporate interest and the ashes of what was left over would be for minorities to try and eek out a living in. What possesses someone in Michigan to buy a GM, Ford or Chrysler product is beyond me especially after they have crapped all over the Michigan worker again and again.
These auto companies have enabled people with minimum wage skills to maximum wage checks. Thats why they buy these cars. Its called licking the hand that feeds you.

The only ideas the democraps and progressives have are new programs that cost more and more and never get rid of the old programs that still cost more and more so what we have now is pyramids of progressive programs that didn't work, don't work and will never work but they will keep on creating them and the poor will still be poor the needy will still be needy and like sheep they will fall on every word that their leader says and still be needy and poor and complain that there are not enough programs to help those in need. and the pyramid keeps on growing and on and on and on, thanks LBJ.
So now it's LBJ's fault. I can take it back to Nixon and Reagan, and have, and back it all up. Not just presenting my opinion(s) as fact.

<quoted text>Michigan has 1st place in "most miserable city to live in" - it's Detroit. And ABC News just last evening pointed out that all the "sky is falling" rhetoric that Obama is running around crying about is just that, rhetoric. For example, the TSA budget that will cause all kinds of layoffs of air traffic controllers and screeners? yeah, they will lose 1 Billion of a 70+ Billion $$ budget. So, yes the national media is beginning to look at this as chicken little, again. Mr. Obama is crying wolf, once again, and people are beginning to ignore him.
Can you actually maintain a straight face, while accusing this President of, "sky is falling" rhetoric?

Get help..... Then move to Chicago and leave my West Michigan alone.......
Wow, you try to help a boy out and this is the thanks you get.
Since you have trouble coping with the real world, I was just trying to point out some teabagger utopias where you might fit in amongst your own kind a little better..
Maybe 'The Citadel' isn't right for you.
12 questions on the application form is probably 11 more than you're capable of answering.
Perhaps Independence USA, the hybrid community/theme park proposed by Glenn Beck, is more to your liking?

And if you don't decide to move to your own personal Eden, as long as this is YOUR West Michigan, could you please fix the pothole at the end of my driveway?
Dang things about as big as my stretched out birth cannon.
If you don't fix it you'll be buying me a brand new car real soon.

Thanks for the advice dear boy.
You do realize that either way, you will be paying for it, right?

What hardware store would you recommend?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

So tell me, have you criticized anything he has done? If so, please point to the posts that you did that criticism on, otherwise, you have in essence praised his every action. In the meantime, you have criticized everything the Republicans/conservatives have done.

Show me where I have ever said it has. However, it has stayed pretty much the same as when he took office. While the private sector has increased in some areas, the public sector has been laying off employees. You know those pesky government employees that you don't like to pay their wages. You certainly can't have it both ways, even though you think you can, it doesn't work that way.

Are you seriouse?
The president has been all over the place blameing conservatives for this "sequester" thing.
When it was all HIS idea back in 2011.
He peoposed it himself, signed the bill into law back in August of 2011.
Now it's biting him in the azz, and he's blaming republicans for it!
Obama will go down in history as the blamer,.......everything is someone elses fault.....
He wont even take responsibilty for his own actions anymore.

So in the end what difference does it really make? Do you think the Republicans would have had the stones to go all in by proposing a equally split bi-partisan committee to establish what would be necessary to take care of the problem and risk not getting exactly what they want only?

It's safe to say by the evidence the answer is no they wouldn't. The committee came back with what is obvious to both parties a draconian resolution that is weighted in neither partisan philosophy. It is weighted in favor of resolving the deficit issue.

Only fools look at governmental fiscal management the same as personal fiscal management. Don't even bother trying to misconstrue it as my saying governments should just spend any ole' way they want. You haven't got the greater part of the area driving on your driveway demanding the pot holes in your drive be fixed because it's damaging their cars.
(that's just a metaphor in case you'd want to try and use it as an example to argue)
And only fools would offhandedly reject extra income as a part of responsible resolution in their personal finances with the disparity between outgo and income as is now being experienced.

The sequester was set up with the purpose of making it so draconian as to force the two parties to come to a resolution between then or else. That was no secret to anyone. Not at all unusual in mediation, arbitration or even by a judge.

This is what I love about the Republicans; "The senator (Republican Sen. John Barrasso) said (on CNN's "State of the Union.") there are "much better ways to do these budget cuts," though he did not mention specific proposals."
http://www.wtae.com/news/politics/GOP-senator...
'Ya, we've got better ways but we just don't want to tell you what they are'.

The Republicans will make sure the sequester will happen so they can call Obama a liar for vowing it wouldn't during his re-election campaign.

Obama needs to learn not to make promises the Republicans can find about to make sure they don't happen.

So you are fine with an unemployment rate of 8%? The new "normal" for you libs?? Wonder how those millions of people trying to live on unemployment feel about the "new normal"? Did you feel that way when the unemployment rate was 6 and % under Bush??? Guessing not.
