A person getting caught for trying to have sex with a CONSENTING ADULT of the opposite sex is so far down the list of what I would consider "criminal behavior". Unfortunately the local media will do its best to destroy his(and families) life. My thoughts and wishes of a way past this go out to Tim and his family.

Judge not lest you be judged.

This means you are to judge others actions against morally and socially acceptable behavior, and hold yourself to that same standard.

Most of you just want to lower all the standards so everyone's behavior, no matter how vile or immoral or illegal, are "tolerated". This guy works with our children, knows the risk he was taking, and now must accept responsibility for his actions.

Tolerating and excusing this type of behavior is what led to the end of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Crazy. It's not like the hooker was a 14 year old boy. This is like slander!

Go back and hunt your bear, skin it, and rub it all over your gross naked body. That's what you do best. Not singing.

We can say that it should be legal, or tax it, or whatever. Fact is though that the laws a currently a certain way, and this guy broke them. Is it right that entertainers, teachers, and other certain professions seem to be sensationalized when bad stuff goes down? Probably not, but that's the way it is , and anyone in those professions should know it is part of the package. When I think about who I want to motivate/ inspire/ oversee/ influence/ educate my son, I do not want it to be someone who knowingly breaks the law and hangs out on South Division. I hope for his sake he didn't get aides.

Funny how the news wants to sensationalize an act between two consenting adults and somehow imply all parents should now be afraid. If this was in Las Vegas, it wouldn't have even been considered a crime. This was just two adults having sex for crying out loud - nothing horrible about that.

I am so glad I don't live in your world. And most people posting seem to not share your view either.....

Why don't they plaster the dog torturer's picture on the front page?? I think that person is more worthy of bad press than this teacher.

I have been married for 17 years and I guarantee it would have been cheaper to bang a street walker all these years then it has been being married. One way or another men pay for it rather it be cash, or the sanity.

Nice of you to embrass the school you work in and all your students. I for one wouldn't want you for a teacher. P.S> I went to Byron Center.

At least he's not a pedophilic homosexual. I would be more concerned about the teachers harrasing and molesting the students than a guy that does this on his off hours. No more reason to put him in the news than if it was a janitor, garbageman, or the flipping burgers at Mickey D's. This probably could have been handled but some nosy reporter had to get the latest "scoop"! WOODTV8 or National Enquirer...you make the call!

Sounds like your wife got the short end of that deal.
Feel sorry for her.
