Good stuff...
How about some Grand Funk Railroad or Led Zeppelin or do you remember the Turtles?
Yeah,... but now I'm starting to feel old, because I dont have any clue who most of these people are that are being mentioned on this thread.

Bachman Turner Overdrive was a good one too.

I don't like to listen to music from the past.

I'm just starting to listen to music again, and it's been awhile.

I just downloaded 2 songs from Adele 21 last week. So, now I have 2 songs on my iPod.

Two very excellent choices. I saw ELO in concert and it was great. Foghat was one of my first albums that I bought if not the first.... On 8-track LOL.

Heavy Metal - the heavier the better for me but I enjoy listening to all kinds of music - except County.

Hurley? Why are you up so early - can't you sleep or is this your normal schedule these days?

Sorry to hear that Hurley - if you could find someone to make you some of that yummy homemade chicken soup that neecer mentioned (hint, hint)- I'd be more than happy to come over & put some of that Vicks Vapo Rub on your chest if you'd like?

Are you telling me that that thing that said "8-Track" in the dash of my 1978 Monte Carlo was a music player? Huh. Who'dda thunk it? Lol

I agree. I like metal and all music except country. I do like Johnny Cash, though. I don't like modern country. It's too whiny for my liking.

Sure, I too might listen to Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson - maybe even a nice soft song by Dolly Parton - but that's about it ...

And yeah, Pandora dot com is absolutely awesome!:)

Especially when blaring through the speakers of my Lexus. The car may be 17 years old, but the radio still sounds great!

Music is the closest thing to magic humans can achieve in this world. Anyone ever notice that EVERY single religion ever invented by man has its own music attached to it?

Older bands: Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, Queen, Gentle Giant and of course, the Beatles!

Modern bands: Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree, Mindless Self Indulgence, Tool...

Beyond all that, every band I have ever been a part of (currently, Rescued From Rehab).
