Let's talk music. Who's your favorite musicians? Which musicians irritate you to no end?

Buffalo Springfield "For What It's Worth"
It applied then and applies now...
It's more than an anti-war song...

Katy Perry is BEYOND irritating. Every time I hear 'Firework' I just want to punch someone in the face.

Rick Perry does not approve. The police are always right. The military always right. A patriot always supports war.

Excellent Choice. If not an anti-war song the best "don't trust everything authority tells you" song ever written.

Love that song. Glad someone brought it up. This may sound weird to those who know me but I think one of the best purely anti-war songs has got to "Rooster" by Alice in Chains. Again, still very applicable today, especially with so many of our troops coming home with traumatic brain injuries and PTSD.

How about some Grand Funk Railroad or Led Zeppelin or do you remember the Turtles?

Thanks, Arctic! I won't be on topix much, but I'll pop in when I can. I'm quite busy with my current job, and do not have a lot of spare time.

Both great bands! I agree about Lady Gaga. The weirder she gets (and the more that she sounds like Madonna), the worse she is. "Born This Way" is a blatant rip-off of "Express Yourself" by Madonna.

My current favorite band is Volbeat, but I've been listening to Ben Folds a lot lately. I plug the cassette adaptor into my Blackberry, and listen to Pandora through the speakers of my Lexus. The Ben Folds Five channel is great!

I'll admit it...I LOVE Lady Gaga! I generally just like a bunch of different music though. In my car cd player right now I have bluegrass, folk, showtunes, dance and rock...
