Good Day,

You may hear the following phrase many times over the next four years - "Told you so..."

The libs don't understand that this will happen in every segment of business. Perhaps THEY will want to secede from those of us who want to work and succeed?

Perhaps, old man, you should try to figure out where you are going to get your food that doesn't add those costs to your bill? Good luck with that endeavor.

Now that everyone is going to be required to buy health insurance, its time to allow hospitals to turn away those who don't have insurance.

By not having to take care of the uninsured, hospitals won't have to pass on the losses incurred from these freeloaders onto people who play by the rules. This should reduce the cost of health care so some of you can afford the extra fifteen cents for breakfast.

You betcha Bob. And who do you think will be turned away the most?? Perhaps you might want to re-think this position?

For a $25 tab that equals $1.25. Seems like a small price to see that everyone has healthcare and aren't sucking off the system making my rates go up. What you people don't seem to grasp is when these uninsured people walk into a clinic or hospital they are costing us too.

Now, back to Denny's. I will never eat at a Dennys again afier I watched some guy fall off his chair and die of a heart attack at a Seattle Denny's about 15 years ago. That aside, if you eat at Denny's then you should not only be paying a 5% surcharge for health insurance but also pay a 10% surcharge for being stupid and destroying your body.

Obesity and diabetes are running through this country like a The Plague and their lifestyles are crushing our medical system like a bug. Everytime I see some fat obese pile of crap complaining about Obama Care I want to slap them across their fat butterball face. How many of those people have no insurance? How many are under-insured? In the end how much of my premium is set aside to take care of those fks?

Like it or not Obama Care is here to stay and like it or not something had to be done. It's just too bad the republicans didn't want to participate in putting this thing together. They had a choice but instead wanted to run ads in the next election season saying how much they were against health care reform. Brilliant. Obama's been re-elected and now you got what you got. It's the same exact thing as not voting. You didn't want to participate? Then you can't complain about the final product.

I agree with your argument that uninsured people cause rates to rise. However the stipulation that people can pay a small fine and only get health insurance when they need medical attention is what is going to cause rates to rise. All the additional government regulation will also cause rates to rise. This is precisely why rates continue to climb at a higher rate than inflation.

Also the Denny's point proves that Obamacare will cause unemployment.

You libs just want to take one part of the bill and form an argument because you can't face the facts that it a bad piece of legislation and we are starting to feel the negative effects even though it hasn't been fully implemented yet. Just wait for 2014 when all hell breaks out.

But that wouldn't be "fair and equitable" we need to redistribute the wealth so all can have insurance.

What is it with you people? Your empty threats of doom and gloom. Back in 2008 you all were saying that by 2012 we'd all be wearing uniforms and bowing before Obama as he preached to us from high upon a clifftop. You said terrorists would attack us on a daily basis destroying our country and turning the US into an al qaeda training base. You said the rest of the world would abandon us and pick apart our carcass after al qaeda wiped us out. You said our economy would be completely tanked by now and people would be eating their pets and drinking their own piss just to survive. Violence and chaos would be on every street and our rivers would flow red with the blood of our neighbors. God's wrath would finally reach a boiling point as he would decide it's time that his experiment came to an end because of all the debauchery, fetus killing, drug use and everthing else that comes with electing a black 'Hip-Hop' president. Finally, Obama's eyes would turn orange and his ears would become pointy. His skin would become scaly and a tail would grow out of his backside. He would begin walking around with a pitchfork and his tongue would beome that of a serpent's. We would finally realize we had elected Satan as president. The split second that we make the realization, Jesus would swoop down from the clouds and carry us all home, leaving Obama, the Satan President, behind to become engulfed in the firey lava-like substance that now covered the entire earth. His screams of agony and pain would cause our ears to ring as Jesus lifted us up into the heavens. Just as we would reach the outer atmosphere the earth would explode into a giant fireball as it broke into trillions of pieces, none bigger than a fingernail. It's 2012 the world is supposed to be over.

Last night I let my dog out before I went to bed and stepped outside. Nothing but silence. Peaceful silence. My family, inside sleeping away in their warm beds and a new coat of frost covered the grass. Smoke rising straight up out of the chimneys of the houses in my neighborhood. I had to chuckle as I stood outside with my dog at my side. I lifted my head to the sky and thanked God for giving me so much.

Perhaps you need to do a little research on a company called Ian's Pizza.

It's a small business that has a total of four stores, and yet they have provided full health care for all of their fifty employees for years. They are just like many small businesses that have been operating that way for years because they know that its the right thing to do. In the meantime, companies like Denny's or Papa Johns treat their employees like some type of second class citizens with low wages and zero benefits, but whose CEO's brag about company profits.

The only hell I see breaking out is when coporate greed is replaced by corporate responsibility. The Ebenezer Scrooges of the world are going to get another wake up call.

That would only apply to emergency care, Bob. With no more pre-existing, what's to stop someone from buying a policy when they know they have something that needs addressing, say....a hernia repair.. getting the surgery, and then dropping the coverage when they're done? That person has now gotten themselves a true bargain...thousands of dollars in health care coverage for the cost of a month or two premium and all the rest who are 'playing by the rules' foot their bill. You'll still be paying, bobby boy, believe me, and it's nice to see that the left is still as heartless as ever...yup....let's deny people emergency health care when they can't afford the premiums to purchase what the government rammed up their arses. Nice to see you tools really don't care if people die after all.

One company. Big frickin' whoop. The only people in for a wakeup call are all those who are going to be told that their hours are being cut to part time so that their employers don't have to pay their health care...lots of them are already doing it.
Ah, the law of unintended consequences bites the left in the arse again.
oh...and we told you so.

You have a choice of eating there or going some place else.
Or you could stay home and eat something healthy.

What's going to make your rates go up is the scenario I outlined above...person signs up for insurance to get whatever elective surgery they need and then drops it as soon as their surgery is over...they get care but never pay anywhere near the amount into the system that is being taken out of it so guess who winds up footing the bill? Yup...that would be you through increased premiums. Have fun with that.

What's not healthy about industrial flour pancakes, whipped creme, brown sugar and 8 flavours of syrups?
