Ok the subject is Forsyth Sues GR over Pot decriminalzation. Looks like a waste of tax payer dollars to me once again. I have read all the posts, however, Grand Rapids passed the law. It is stupid to criminalize a small amount of MJ. There are bigger things to worry about. Yea, you can all say it is against federal law, so is medical MJ so what is your point. Ann Arbor passed it too, there was not a problem. Forsyth, cannnot find anything illegal on what Schmidt did, but he will fight for this? Common people get real. What is more important someone caught with some MJ or a political person trying fraud and getting caught with his pants down.

Too bad you can't keep your snatch from stinkin'. You might not be alone today....
Man when you make comments like your last sentence you lose integrity.

So back to the topic I am liberally conservative or maybe conservatively liberal. Pot should be legal people like Forsythe just want attention they don't get it and believe that MJ is a stepping stone to other drugs, just like those who believe that man has something to do with climate change, of course its not true and he is foolish and ignorant, makes one wonder how he got voted in.

It's NOT "free money" as you and the other parasites think it is, the money is from everybody but you.
I have no idea wtf you are talking about, you aren't making any sense.

IT IS NOT YOUR CAR! What does it say on the title? it asks if there is a secured party, also known as a bank or financial institution where you borrowed the money from. If you were to sell this car you are to pay off the debt first before you take the money and run. It is also known as a lien on the asset. You may have possession of the car but it technically belongs to the bank til it is paid for. If you can not comprehend this concept perhaps you should do some research yourself for a change.
As far as being schooled by potheads, that is what I'm afraid of is going to happen.
You don't need to explain to me how it works, you still haven't made a point.

Why do I care if the bank has it's name on the title? Last I checked no one from the lending institution has asked to borrow it.

Yeah a $500 rebate. I can make more than that keeping my money invested. Also if I had taken the $500 I would have had to pay interest because the 0% goes away. It's an either/or deal. Over 5 years I would have paid $1,667.40 in interest at a rate in the 2% range. That's a lot more than $500 Chippy(if you're able to keep up with me).

So my options were:

1). To take money out of my investments and lose any gains that money would have made me over 5 years.

2). Take the $500 rebate and pay 2% interest and lose out on $1,667.40 (a net loss of $1,167.40)

3). Give up the $500 rebate (again I will make MORE than that keeping my money invested for 5 years) and take the 0% for the longest term possible.

This isn't rocket science. If you disagree you are wrong (from a financial standpoint) because facts don't lie.

I don't think Forsyth or any of his ilk (for the most part conservative republicans) are concerned about pot being a stepping stone to other drugs or it's impact on individuals. It's about keeping their enemies at bay and has been since Nixon turned it into a Schedule One drug so he would have a legal reason to arrest all the Vietnam War protesters and hippies, people he detested. The problem is, these people don't seem to understand it's not just drop outs and hippies that smoke the herb, it's all kinds, from all backgrounds and all levels of society.

To be fair, Obama has done nothing to remove MJ from the schedule one category. He has held off his henchmen from busting clinics and arresting MM patients but there is much more he could do. People will be watching this administration very carefully, especially in Washington State and Colorado. Recent votes in those states have removed the 900lb elephant in the room and placed it on the chests of the legislators. They can no longer ignore this issue. They are now forced to make a decision.

Let's all just hope they make the right decision....

And you have made foul mouthed, juvenile comments about me, my ex husband and my family. Can't take the BS, don't dish it out. But that is one more adult behavior you never learned. Um pay cash stoner!! you said you have it!

If you only got $500 cash rebate then you are being robbed.

Most deals are zero percent or, anywhere from $5000 to $8000 off.

Why pay cash and lose all the money I could make on that money over five years? Is any of this getting through to you??

I didn't get robbed. Where are you getting this $5000-$8000 from? I didn't buy a GM or a Dodge! I don't buy vehicles from manufacturers who devalue their vehicles with $5000 rebates.

..Very wise...Often the car's with the largest discounts are the worst values....recalls years ago, when Lincoln-Mercury offered $8-10,000 rebates on their overpriced, Grand Marquis's...well, what it did in the longrun, was kill it for anyone in the future, that wanted to trade outta one....
