Just watched a thunderstorm roll over the house.

Hail stones started out small, but I've got a medium sized bowl full of them that are 1 1/2" - 2 1/2" in size.

I sure am happy the car was in the garage!

Big hail like that can do tremendous damage....wipe out whole crop fields, and i've seen auto dealerships destroyed, by bad hail....they reported baseball size, in Oklahoma yesterday.....

Severe T-storms with the hail have moved across northern counties and should be over Lake Huron in a few.

and yes hail damage can be horrid. Ruined paint and body on a brand new '81 Monte Carlo during storm in Detroit area where I lived.

Everytime i see these really bad storms, i alway's wonder, where there is an area, that just never seem's to have any tornados, hurrianes or natural disasters.....my grampa had a cabin up in the Dublin/Free Soil area, among the Sauble lakes....outstanding fishing, but i don't recall anything happening ....ever.....I cannot believe they still build mobilehome parks in Kansas or Oklahoma....

The beautiful Pere Marquette River runs through that area. Great fishing and canoeing! I'm sure Barothy Lodge, which is a couple miles south of Walhalla, has a website.

Pere Marquette River is a beautiful river. We kayak on it often during the summer months. Barothy Lodge is beautiful. I am looking forward to getting that kayak out again this summer.

Have many fond memories on the Pere Marquette and Barothy's. Spent a week there in the winter and summer there when I lived in the GR area in the 80s.

The storm damage on Monday down there was horrific.

Now we just have to wait to see if Okie's Senators change their tune for funding FEMA and other federal aid.

Obama is probably not aware of it yet. Out playing golf but no worry Jay Carney will handle it for him. "What difference does it make now?"

Oklahoma Senators Jim Inhofe, Tom Coburn, Face Difficult Options On Disaster Relief

Must Suck to be them right about now. After voting down Sandy relief we'll see just how much these hypocrites play their T-bagger blues today.

Yeah, except the people of Oklahoma are already beginning the process of cleaning up and rebuilding and they're not waiting for nanny Obama to tell them what to do or how to do it. Want to know what self-reliance looks like versus helpless dependence? Take notes on how Oklahoma handles this.

And the people affected by Sandy just stood around, did nothing, waiting for federal relief like they expected a handout? You're suggesting that Sandy victims were somehow less entitled because it was the East Coast and they don't count? What kind of a f'g fool are you? Oklahoman's who lost their homes, property and loved ones in this disaster need and deserve federal relief to help in the rebuilding process as much as anyone else AND Will be grateful for it despite what white trash t-bagger know-it-alls like you think.

What a stupid big mouth SOB you are. You need the stupid slapped right out of you.
