<quoted text>After this post I will no longer reply to anything you write because you are a one of the clueless sheeple. You perceive fear from what I write, but it does not come from an emotion of fear it comes from listening to the people I mentioned above and their ilk for close to fifty years and what they would really like to do. Think I will take a break from this forum for awhile like I did last spring because its the same thing from the same people who seem to have a lot of time to sit at a computer. I am going to go out and live life see you all in the fall I know you will be here because you have nothing better to do. I may troll once in awhile but life is to short I actually have a job and people I like to hang with bye have fun.
Let's hope you get a chance to come back before the goons come to drag you away to the salt mines, you get bombed by a drone, you're put in front of the death panels, you have your home repossessed by the Chinese, or any of the other half a hundred REAL THREATS that you believe in.......

BTW - Please invite the other drones to join you!

No matter how many times its said, those who wish to believe that they see the boogey man around every corner will never understand that business unrestrained, will allow their greed to override their duties to the customer, all in the name of profits for the few.
Have you ever heard of the Pension Benefit Gauranty Corporation?
A government agency formed to protect worker's pensions when the companies they work for fail to live up to their contractural obligations to fund worker pension plans.
The ONLY thing the CFFP is looking at is the SEC and the Dept of Labor to make sure that a select few companies that manage the vast majority of this countrty's 401k retirement plans don't repeat what so many others have done to the private pension funds.
But don't let facts stand in the way of a little more fear mongering!
"People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices…."

"Our merchants and master-manufacturers complain much of the bad effects of high wages in raising the price of their goods both at home and abroad. They say nothing concerning the bad effects of high profits. They are silent and regard to the pernicious effects of their own gains. They complain only of those of other people.

"The interest of the dealers in any particular branch and trade or manufactures, is always in some respects different from and even opposite to, that of the public." - Adam Smith

You know of Smith, that Marxist having turned Marxist well after his death (1809) according to the right-wingers.

<quoted text>You really don't get it I am neither of the above mentioned emotions just aware of whats really going on. Just because you have blinders on does not mean the rest of us have to. Just wait until the full frontal assault of the Unaffordable Health Care Act hits you in the face then you will know. Or when you retire and your meager pension or retirement account gets taxed then you will get it, sorry you are so clueless and closed minded to reality. And when they come for that 401K there will be no one to turn to..
I really have to take issue with this Shoeless, "Or when you retire and your meager pension or retirement account gets taxed then you will get it,..."

Rather than take up a lot of my time and space here I'll link this;
http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130217/B...

It's Snyder that is going after pensions for taxes. Gone after property tax credits etc. on probably the last homes these people will ever own. Part of the frontal assault to offset the $1.6Billion business tax cut; "The Republican governor signed the sweeping tax changes in May 2011. To offset a $1.6 billion business tax cut, he and GOP legislators approved a $1.4 billion increase on individuals, which included setting the income tax rate at 4.25 percent instead of letting it eventually drop to 3.9 percent in 2015 under a previous law".

From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130217/B...
There is no possible way if business should actually flood into Michigan any increases in employment will offset the increased taxation on retirees pensions, what few pensions there actually are now, and retirement plans.

In all seriousness this is, whether intended to be or not, an assault on those least likely to be able to increase their incomes to offset, or even level off, their increased tax burden.

I have not yet seen any reports where Snyder has changed his political party affiliation from Republican to Democrat or Liberal or Progressive.

(a metaphor) In the vast majority of criminal cases one is convicted on the preponderance of evidence far more than any eye witness testimony. And in many cases where there is no eye witness accounts.

The evidence is abundant that conservatives are not government reducers or fitness experts nor tax relievers for anyone under the higher income ranges.

Sorry, but what you've been posting is the perfect example of someone who is scared to death of their country. The only other option is that you enjoy spreading the same tired fearmongering BS that every other right wing whack job does.
Seeing as how the republican pundits have already admitted that the country has changed and the voters are no longer tied to their so called values, it seems that you need to make a decision if all this crap you people spew is the truth.
If the government now plans to take your guns, your retirement funds, and eventually your life....... I'd suggest that you get out while you still can!
You suggest he get out while he can? Who would take the SOB?
