This isn't any surprise:
http://www.newshounds.us/2009/09/01/glenn_bec...

Birthers, militants, christian supremacists, and wacky pastors praying for President Obama's death...

I feel sorry for the intelligent conservatives because Glenn Beck is an embarassment to their movement.

When Krauthammer throws Palin under the bus on death panels you know there is trouble in paradise. Didn't some other conservative call for a pull out of Afghanistan recently, boy how things change quickly.

What a couple of dunces.

Here is the "dirt" that supposedly makes this site that expresses support for a show that they listen to be held to the same level as admitted Communist Van Jones, who ironically, this site has no issue with being in a REAL POSITION OF POWER.

Of course they never dispute what Glenn says. Just call him names.

"The Executive Director is Gary Kreep whose past associations connect him to organizations that the Department of Homeland Security should be monitoring as these groups do have the potential to engage in domestic terrorism."

Mind you the same DHS that thought veterans and people that like tax cuts are potential "threats".

"has served as general counsel to the Minutemen Civil Defense Corpse - a militant nativist group which the SPLC considers "extremist." "

btw the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center) is a left-wing group that labels ALMOST any criticism of Obama as "racist". So yeah, let's really take them as an authority of what's is or isnt an extremist.

"He has been honored by Operation Rescue, a group that seeks to end abortion in the name of Jesus."

Uh....ok? Your point?

"He is a co-founder of The Family Values Coalition, a very creepy group, that also pushes extreme positions involving reproduction, gays, and church/state issues. "

Extreme as in being anti-gay marriage, pro-life, and would like to be able to still say "Merry Christmas"

You know, like the majority of people in the US according to surveys.

"But here's the best part.[[[[wait for it]]]] He's a birther..."

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Snap!

And as for the Palin article. Krugeman's(sp?)only objection was to the actual term "death panels". He basically agreed to her point as evidence in the last paragraph of the piece, if you bother to pay attention.

Thanks for wasting everyone's time with this BS post though.

I clicked on those links and was taken to Media Matters, Daily Kooks and other wacko moonbat websites.
I think this is the new SOP for Liberals. Create a web site to spew garabage and then link back to other liberal web sites as sources.
Brilliant for a bunch of socialist.

Sadly, Beck is among the extremist wackos who are just egging people on to "do something" about our President.

We have these nutjob "pastors" like Wiley Drake and Steven Anderson who are publicly praying for President Obama's death in the name of christianity, and encouraging others to do so. Drake has also said that Dr. Tiller's murder is the result of another prayer. Drake is connected to Gary Kreep, the executive director of the organization hosting the "Defend Glenn" website (no surprise there).

Pastor Steven Anderson has even encouraged his sheep to bring guns to church.

Even though Beck has stopped short of publicly wishing harm to our President, he is certainly pandering to the same extremist crowd.

These nuts are all but instructing the "useful idiots" to take a shot at our President or other democrat in the name of "patriotism."

These kooks are becoming America's version of al qaeda.

The only "extremists" in the room, Arctic are you and Pete. You keep saying that others are calling for something to happen, but you keep bringing it up when no one has called for anything. IF a Pastor prayed for the President's death, it occurs to me that he performed an action that you as an atheist, don't even believe in! So, how can this possibly have any effect on anyone? Praying to a being that you don't believe exists will have an affect? And the kooks you refer to? That would be your SEIU buddies and the New Black Panthers who are getting a free ride from this administration.

Using atheism as an excuse for this disgusting behavior is a stretch even for you.

These pastors are using their positions of leadership to encourage hatred and fear with these so-called "prayers." The prayer itself has no effect but broadcasting the intent to the sheep does.
Once again you have shown you are willing to stick up for any republicans, no matter how repulsive or crazy they are.
You are willing to support a movement that has abandoned any basis in reality and has become a sideshow distraction.

You are sincere in your hope that it is a distraction, I am sure. I was being facetious with you. I don't defend their actions, but what I do believe is that if they have truly done this, the very God you don't believe in will deal with this in His time and His way. There will be retribution for praying for someone's death, believe me. However, the retribution should not come from their fellow men. You choose to believe that all conservatives and Republicans follow these people and that is where your hatred for the right blinds you to reality.

Personally I think you are hoping something happens to Obama.

And "our" president? Funny how he is "our" president now, when for the past 8 years it was "Bush isn't my president".

It is funny how FAUX news refuses to even acknowledge why 50 sponsors have fled Beck crazytown.
They are afraid to even say what it is Beck said to cause it.
Last week when Beck was on O'Reilly's show they talked about liberal loons wanting to shut Beck up, but neither one would would even talk about what Beck said because it is indefensible.

SO where was your outrage the previous 8 years when people called for someone to 'do something' about the president? Or does that outrage not apply when you actually hope it will happen?
Double. Standard.
'Our' president? Don't blame me for this mess...I didn't vote for that one.

So, Pete and Arty: We know you're liberals, progressives and atheists. You have no respect for Palin, wish Bush and Cheney were convicted for war crimes and can't stand "Faux" News. Lord knows we've listened to your daily rants on all of these things for some time now as you proudly proclaim your convictions to all.
But are you as brave and willing to admit that you're communists? Will you as boldly stand up for your marxist beliefs as you do for your support of ACORN and anyone that stands against capitalism? Or will you deny it?

Just a question. Ignore it if you choose, or feel it's no one's business. I have no motives for asking other than curiosity. So, are you communists?

Still waiting for them to show me proof that what he's saying is false.

Arctic gave me those three little links from Politifact and when I tried to debate them he called me an apologist or something similar and never really even touched on the points I presented.

I'll keep waiting though...

Yes, I'll probably get a reply to the question of who's willing to admit they're a communist when you get anything resembling proof of fact from Arctic's opinions. From what I've seen he/she just likes to snipe and run, while Pete just tweaks noses for entertainment. Either way, it appears to be a waste of time to pay attention to their baseless rants any longer. I just can't take them serious.

At least other liberals and independents here seem to be concerned enough to discuss things. You may not agree with them but it's clear they have America's best interest in mind. In the end, that's what's important no matter which side of the fence you stand.

Agreed, I'll respect anyone's opinion as long as it's based on at least a bit of fact. I do have a hard time with hypocrisy though, and that's more evident than anything. However, I will give it to them, how long did it take for you to realize that some of the things republican legislators and W were doing weren't necessarily right for the country? You know what I'm saying? I think it's hard sometimes for people to admit they're riding a losing horse, even when it smacks them right in the face...

Some time back I was asked how I chose my party affiliation. Honestly, it was just the way my family voted. That answer sucked. I realized I was one of the many ignorant fools who vote for all the wrong reasons. I may still be ignorant and a fool, but not when it comes to politics.

All I ask is that people study the facts and backgrounds of these politicians, not what color they are, how well they orate, or what the mainstream media says about them because none of that matters in the end.

Here is the thing that i find telling.

We know they are watching his show everyday looking for something to attack him on. Exhibit A is the whole "gotcha" they thought they had on him misspelling a word. If they go ape over this, you would think that the main charges he has brought forth would have be easy prey for them to totally and completely disprove, right?

The thing is they haven't, and cannot. 99.9% of the detractors of Glenn just resort to name-calling and personal attacks, and from what I understand from Glenn, they are now making physical threats against him and his family.

Why stoop to that level if all you need to do is just disprove what he said?
