Today I heard some jokes about big bird but I think that people should be asking who is going to come up with the extra money for the roads in Michigan, you know what spring does to our roads. Who is going to come up with the money needed for the schools, not just teachers but upkeep, books, ect.. With Romney cutting 20% across the board those Federal tax dollors won't be here. After your state and local taxes go way up, will you have learned any thing yet or just keep voting for Republicans as your and my way of life goes down the drain.

I bring up taxes for the middle class and question this but all I see is about big bird. What a joke. Romney will create more taxes for the middle class and we just hear about big bird. Wake up middle class before it is too late.

There's your class envy, childlike mentality in a liberal's own ignorant and horribly written words.

Exactly what slick, spoiled rich kid got us into "all this trouble", Blue?

You sound like a racist moron when you type this factless stereotype hate crap.

you are the one who worries about that! I on the other hand, realize everyone has a difference of opinion.

At the same time if you think Big Bird is an important issue, than in my opinion you have no clue as to what the state of our economy is in! and your priorites are messed up IMO.....if you can handle that!

He actually just pointed out that would be another area for cuts....PBS...I guess you weren't paying attention. Big Bird is on your mans dime, Obama is the one who made the childish comments about big bird.......what a foolish conversation, especially from someone who can't wait till the election is over.

Do you really feel somehow Big bird is even an issue?

I mean this is the most ridiculus diversion I have ever seen.

I have lost even more respect for you, and you were already in the negative.

I know others have tried to point out the concept of projecting to you, but while you seem to do a lot of it, you don't ever seem to recognize you're doing it.

If you really believe GW was solely responsible for putting this country in the economic position we're in today I'd have to question where your head has been stuffed for the last two decades. Up until now I just assumed you guys understood your "blame Bush" argument was more of a joke, but Im beginning to think you actually have bought into that hook, line and hanging chad. Bush didn't make things any better, but W. was but one player in a long line from both sides of the aisle that caused this mess. You can't possibly be so naive as to really think Bush was the sole problem. C'mon!

The Horror of 2008??? LOL ... Do you mean the recession, or the recession-worsening election of Barack Hussein Obama?

$10.7 trillion in debt...Two wars and a mortgage crisis on the taxpayers credit card....I'd say, GW did more than his share, would'nt you? Many had a hand in this crisis, but acting like you have amnesia, only makes it worse....

Verbal abusing, poisonous petty views. Wow Blue, the work you did yesterday was to read the dictionary you wrote yourself, wasn't it? As for partisan politics, you really should look in the mirror to see who the true partisan is on these boards. And one more thing, as I told your good buddy Oregon, don't like what I post? Ignore it or stay on the oh so worldly liberal forums you love to post on.

We have agreed that GW wasn't innocent in the issues facing this country. Can you man up and admit that your hero, Obama, has only made things worse? Of course, that is a rhetorical question for you since we all know you won't.

What do you think is going to happen in 2013 when the mandatory $1.2 Trillion in spending cuts start to take place?
Not, certain where you came up with that Romney cutting 20% across the board thing, thanks for the link!

We're pretty much in the same boat today, only the debt is $16 Trillion, and unemployment is higher.

And Obama has added more to the deficit in a quicker amount of time than any president in history, as well as gotten us into more wars and divided our nation further apart. Our credit rating has been downgraded for the first time in history and we'll likely be downgraded again. Out troops are still fighting in the Middle East and now in Jordan. Iraq is nearing nuclear weapon capabilities and North Korea is once again making threats against the US.
If your point is that at best Obama is no better than Bush you're proving it nicely.

In the minute it took me to type this our deficit went up an amount that the entire topix community combined could never earn in a week. And you want to blame that staggering figure on a single president?

There's more than just philosophical agreement with this president that makes you such a blind follower, Go Blue. I wonder if you'll ever admit it.

Absolutely not....IF YOU CAN LOOK AT WHERE THIS COUNTRY WAS ECONOMICALLY IN 2008.......THEN, TELL ME, WE ARE WORSE OFF NOW......You have no understanding of economics at all....Sandy, be honest, it's not all about politics....

Thanks, you just answered my question and Diggs. You refuse to admit that Obama has made the deficit worse, unemployment is worse, we have been downgraded in our credit rating and another one is coming, Obama has NOT fulfilled one campaign promise he made nearly 4 years ago and you still insist he hasn't made it worse?? there isn't an economist on this planet will tell you that we are in a full fledged recovery. If there is one, post the link.
