What is wrong with that picture?
I'll be doing the exact opposite of what Granholm does.
Yeah, because McCain agrees with Bush's method of running the country and it's been working out great for us as a Nation and the last few years have seen Michigan really take off!! Who would actually want to see anything change around here?

And Palin, my god, it's like a bad Disney movie if McCain, who's 72, ever has any health problems. Hockey Mom Prez! She doesn't even believe dinosaurs ever existed because the bible doesn't mention it. We'd be nuking every non-christian country there is. The lady is stupid, watch how she shines tonight.

You may be right, but you can't deny that McCain will do exactly what GWB has done. Continue the same old crap until the middle class is gone and most of America will be fighting with the illegals for the low paying jobs.
If you want a strong economy stay away from the failed Republican party.

@boogyman

Is that your opinion or is it the opinion of "political" pundits such as Rush and Hannity? I always hear there ilk always shooting off that liberals are "socialists and want communism to rule the day". Rarely do people think for themselves anymore and let some fool make there minds up for them. Also your profanity shows your ignorance in what you are trying to convey, grow up and think for yourself.

yep...That's "Presidential",'eh?!
Ok,to answer your question. Now, don't kill the messenger...lol. It was said he realizes that Michigan is favoring Obama. So, McCain needed to focus on other states where the margins were closer. For instance Florida, North Carolina an others. Thats not to say he'll not campaign here again. The margins or polls between Obama an McCain are considerably different at this time.

Looks like McCain is turning his back on Michigan and the middle class people of this country. I guess if we made more than 5 million per year we would be more important to him.
Makes one wonder why his wife doesn't loan his campaign the money like Hillary lent money to her campaign. 5 million is purse change for Cindy McCain.

This state is full of idiots as proven with the re-election of Granholm and continue elections of Levin and Stebenaugh. Michigan won't see any turn around until more liberals leave it or die off. It's too bad. This state has so much potential if conservative values thrived instead of the socialism brought forth by liberals. While there is socialism, Michigan is a dead state.

William Milliken-G.O.P.'69-'83
James Blanchard-DEM '83-'91
John Engler-G.O.P.'91-'03
Granholm-DEM '03-present

Quote-"Since 1965, the ONLY period of significant tax relief for Michigan citizens occurred from 1984-1994. During these years the state income tax was cut from 6.35 to 4.4 percent." This was done during the DEM. Blanchard years.

"Michigan has the dubious distinction of having the WORST economic performance of all 50 states.
Lawmakers must significantly reduce the tax burden on citizens. Doing so will help REVERSE the economic deterioration of the PAST 40 YEARS!"

The Single Business Tax was formed in 1965 under G.O.P. Governor Romney. He also formed the State Income Tax 2 yrs. later in 1967.

So, I hardly see how this is all about "Granholm", when the State of Michigan has been in a DECLINE for the past 40 yrs.; EXCEPT for the years of Democrat Governor Blanchard.

The citizens of Michigan has been supporting the Low Life in Detroit, draining the economy. Give Detroit to Canada, Ohio, Make it the 51st State, Nuke it... without Detroit, Michigan would stand a chance.

Hey d i c k h e a d! The liberals are the party of socialism! Every time I read Obama supporters blogs they all have one thing in common, that is, they hate the wealthy. You can't stand the fact that America was founded on the principles of hard work and that a few would become wealthy due to the law of averages. Look that up if you don't know what it means. Liberals are ALL socialists, there is no part-time commie in my book. You want a hand out, move to Europe and take your F U C K I N G A S S H O L E Osamabama with you.

Michigan's Welfare System definately needs to be over-hauled. BUT you're misinformed if you think that is only because of the Detroit area. Thousands flock to Michigan from "everywhere", because of our "lenient" welfare system for non-residents; and even for illegals in the state. If we get "tough", hopefully they will "flock" somewhere else. But that isn't the only problem with Michigan. Too much "pork"; too many taxes; and not enough politicians who give a crap.
