So Bobby Jindal, a Republican, was the Governor of Louisiana allowed the guns around New Orleans to be confiscated after Katrina. Imagine that. And Ray Nagin? The Mayor of New Orleans was a registered Republican all his life before running for mayor, being a known supporter of George W. Bush, having contributed to Bush's campaign. Nagin, I would suspect, ordered the confiscations.
On January 18, 2013, Nagin was indicted on twenty-one corruption charges, including wire fraud, bribery and money laundering related to his dealings with city vendors following Hurricane Katrina disaster. But I suppose being a registered Republican until he opportunistically switched to Democrat to run for mayor makes his philosophy liberal...

I don't believe the NOLA PD was following Jindal's orders.... It was Ray Nagin(D)who had directed the action...... Nagin received monies from the Dems...... He wanted a Chocolate Town..... Republicans don't segregate races like Southern Dems historically do.......

Nice try at deflection. You get a 9 for effort. Nagin did order the confiscations and HE WAS A DEMOCRAT AT THE TIME. Apparently, it doesn't count if an African American was a Republican first? Nice to know.

So how did you miss where I said Nagin was a registered Republican until he ran for Mayor?

Jindal could very well have "condemned" Nagin's order to confiscate. Not that I believe under the circumstances confiscation was a bad idea.

If you would have learned anything about political history today's Democrats are basically the Republicans pre 60s. While today's Republicans are basically Southern Democrats of the pre 60s.

I mentioned Nagin switched only because I knew I would be "attacked" for Nagin being a Democrat. He was a registered Republican BEFORE he ran for Mayor. Shortly enough that he [Nagin] had contributed to George W. Bush's election campaign. Nagin running for Mayor in 2002. Does that sound like a Democrat to you? People don't normally switch their political psychology just because they switch [political] parties. Yes it does happen but is not the norm. They will switch party affiliation to get elected in an area adverse to one party or the other. Just a political reality.

You wish, you are just projecting again.... Conservatives were shocked by the action that Nagin took.... He was a Dem for sure...

No one "attacked" you. Get over thinking that just because we don't agree with your every manifesto we are attacking you. Good grief! And yes, he switched to the Democratic party to have an advantage. Gee, were you thinking "gee, that's just political reality" when Roy Schmidt switched to the Republicans earlier? I would bet not.

You're right. Another word has needed to be found instead of attack.

Yes I did think that about Schmidt. Just like with Nagin switching for political expediency. Not for an honorable position of change in political philosophy. But to gain a position in power.

The Muslim Brotherhood say's that they HATE Israel, and want to blow them off the map, so we send them 20 new F-16's!

Lame just might be someone bringing up the off topic issue of F-16's on a thread that is dealing with domestic ownership of guns......

But don't let that stop you from your teabagging whine!

Remember Benghazi!
