Mass Transit - the lynchpin of a good socialist society.

Even Hitler knew that.

If they're "working" how come they can't afford a car?

Because they think they need a NEW car, one that won't "harm the environment", thanks to liberals who've pounded into their heads that they need a "hybrid" or a Volt and who are purposely raising gas prices and insurance prices to force people onto those buses.

Never been to the big city have ya?
Mass transit transports over 100,000 people a day into and out of the D.C. area. Many folks that actually live in D.C. don't own a car. Not because they can't afford one, they just don't want one. A big reason for that is there's no place to park.
The reason there's no place to park is every day thousands upon thousands of people who work in D.C. also drive from the outlying areas...as far as Richmond and West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The backups on the highways leading to D.C. can and regularly do exceed 20 to 30 miles, every day of the week.
The outlying Metro Stations that have parking fill up every morning by 7:00.
Even with all that one can almost make better time walking or riding a bicycle in D.C. If you don't believe me, come on down sometime and be really brave and drive into D.C.
Nothing socialist about it...just common sense.

Alot of people around here think Grand Rapids is the center if the universe and have very little idea of how the rest of the world works. Mass transit is very popular and necessary in major cities across America and all over Europe. Just because you need to own a car in west Michigan doesn't mean the rest of the world has to.

Spoken like a true socialist piece of shit.

Ghetto Rapids used to be nice, till the brown parasites infiltrated the place. Now you can't go anywhere without some homeless piece of filth looking for butts and handouts, and they're too stupid to figure out that it's liberals like you that put them in that position.

It's nice to see the radical fringe of the republican party is still the most vocal part of their party.
