I think the media just hears one side of a story and runs with it...Anything for a story right!! I recomend this company to any during these hard economic times!! My thoughts are with you One step and keep up the great work you have helped out alot of people!!!
I haven't heard a good thing about them. We have it first hand after dealing with them, they are a bunch of crooks. We lost our house because of Mike Anderson and Lisa Sones. If he was honest, he wouldn't have caused us to lose our house.

Hold on! I don't know much about the real estate company or who owns it, but they have nothing to do with you losing your home. What did they do? Try to record a false deed at the county? NO.(Thats fraud and punishable by years in prison) There are only a few reasons you can lose your home. 1) Non payment of property taxes. 2) eminant domain. 3) disaster (typically covered by insurance and you still own the property) 4) Foreclosure.

Take your pick, but I bet you it is the last one. Hey idiot.....pay your bills and you wouldn't have lost your home. This above comment has nothing to do w/ the real estate company. stay on topic

I am now losing my home thanks to One Step Realty. My tenants haven't paid in a year. When I made a BBB file against the company, I was threatened by his lawyer. Horrible man, horrible company.

I knew Mike very well, He has had numorous companies. He also has always employed the unsavory business type. He has more girlfriends in different ends of the state. His crew at his last mortage co. had a computer program calledthe point. It is what they used to falsify paper work. They could make up w2s and earning statements you name it. He owned a home on Lake Bella Vista last I knew. He also owns a boatload of property up by Hart. The family owns acottage up there. He like to take his lady friends up there. Him and his brothers run quite the scams. I hope someone in the new media takes the time to look him up for real

It very sad when a company like this takes advantage of people. Thank goodness there are Realtors like Shelly Frody that are straight with people.

YES, we lost our home because of Mike Anderson. He had a person living in our house who was supposed to be paying us on a Land Contract and we never received a penny. It took us over 6 months to get him out and because of not receiving the payments, we couldn't make the house payments. I don't appreciate being called an idiot when you don't even have your facts right. When you don't have money coming in, it is hard to pay your bills. Husband was on disability because of health problems.

After Mike Anderson signed papers for a land contract for the house, and Mike Mosher(who was an employee of one step realty) finale moved out more than 6 months later with out paying a dime. I helped clean the mess that they laft for use to clean( in the house and yard). We found paperwork stating that they could not afford to purchess the house. Mike AAnderson knew of this because his name was on the paperwork. I hope they punish him for all of the problems he has caused to so many people.

I too was not happy with how Mike Anderson rented my property in Kentwood, MI. I am from California. He never gave me a final statement of financial details when my last tenant abondoned my property and left me with damages. Both renters he got me ruined my property. Anyway as a result of the way he handled my property I never did know how the security deposit which was in trust was dispursed. I am sure if I contacted the MI atorney General he could help, but the amount just isn't worth my time. I was warned niot to use him back in 2006 but he made such promises, and my being out of town, I went ahead. BIG mistake.

I have been lied to over and over. The manager was supposedly going to take pictures and email them to me. Never happened. He has promised to kick out nonpaying tenants. Hasn't done it. Swore my units were rentable immediately and has yet to rent anything. All I can say is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
