I personally know Jeni and the news is making it sound really bad. I know what she did was wrong but she did it because the family was going through hard times and she didn't want to lose anything, anyone in her shoes would have probably done the same thing and if you say you wouldnn't your a liar. She didn't take the money all at once it was over a period of time.

So you're saying it's OK to steal if you have financial trouble? No Way! And I am NOT lying when I say I wouldn't have done the same thing.

If she was a bank manager, she had a stable job. There are a LOY of people in worse situation who amazing have not turned to "Stealing" to help them out of the situation!

Well, let's see, she has lost her job, she will never be trusted with such a job again, and she'll have to pay the money back or spend more time in prison for violating her probation. The hard times are just beginning now. She had it good before and threw everything out the window, so to speak. I would not do it because I would consider the possibility of getting caught. It's not worth it!

that's what you all say now but you were never in her shoes. she had a family to take care of 3 kids and a husband and only one income......she's doing her time and she know what she did was wrong..so go ahead and say what you have to say but her family is going to 100% supportive.

Yeah, good choice. Instead of taking care of her family with one income, she decided to steal, and now they're getting by on zero incomes.

I have been in worse. Try delivering newspapers for 11 months while looking for work with 4 kids. Granted, my wife was working, but she probably made more money by herself than my wife and I did together. It is not going to do her family any good now while she is in prison and repaying the money she took.

Seriously! I am a single mother of two kids trying to make it on one income with a mortgage payment, car payment, I drive 102 miles a day back and forth to work (need I mention gas prices here?), my electric bill just frikken tripled, and I have a senior in high school that needs all of the "senior year" crap bought and paid for.. BUT.. I would NEVER NEVER NEVER steal to accomplish those things! Cripes you just pizzed me off by saying "anyone would do it".. NO WE WOULD NOT, only those that want to live with champagne tastes on a beer budget would steal. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I am always amazed by what people will do for $$$$. Some really sad stories out there. Serious lapses of judgment. The problems are just beginning for her in many ways. Why they think they will not be caught. Your sins will find you out. They always do.
