And the Democratic Senate which refuses to consider anything the House sends to them. Do you want the link for Harry Reid's statement? How about his statement about refusing to work with Romney if Romney was elected? Do you want the link for that statement as well? As for everyone suffering, you will get what you voted for...a President who doesn't give a darn about anyone but the unions and himself. Get out your wallet, your taxes are going up in 2013 to pay for your foolishness. Unfortunately, the rest of us (nearly 50%) have to also pay for your foolishness, but you don't really care about that.

I don't always double down on failure, but when I do...I vote for Obama.

Let's all keep pretending, it's the senate, and ignore the true treachery, which has made the republican party, less and less significant....unable to learn, eh?

Do you even know how the system is supposed to work or don't you give a crap? I suspect you don't give a crap since you keep blaming only one branch of the government. Apparently in your tiny little world, the only people in government who are supposed to compromise and kiss the ass of Obama is the House? Ever hear that a country divided cannot stand? THAT is what Obama wanted, THAT is what he got, and you will be seeing the direct results of that division in the next 4 years. I hope you are jumping for joy once the country goes bankrupt and becomes the 3rd world country you seem to want it to become, because that is what will happen. Do you remember the "misery index" of the Carter years? Well, put on your seat belt, because it's coming back only bigger and stronger with Obama. The fact that you don't care and haven't cared is very, very sad.

Sometime's it seems they would rather, just accept Fox's version of what happen's in Washington...rather than learn the truth, on their own...truly a small-town mentality, even the blaming of others for a plight that likely, isn't even theirs.....it's no wonder, they stay on this forum, as that shit would'nt fly, nationally....

Then go back to the national forums, Blue, since your "shit" doesn't fly here. As for the blame game, looked in the mirror lately?

It's starting to look like membership in the tea party requires the members to be mentally unbalanced.....

I didn't even now that the president was the one that wrote, voted, and signed into law the budget control act all by himself. That's seems like a more impeachable offence than Benghazi, but maybe not as it sounds like the republicans didn't even know about it until Wednesday!

If the republican's have paid attention...they would be moonwalking away from the tea party, at a brisk pace....Down here, good news...Allen West is history and our tea party governor's shortening the state's traditional early voting period, is officially blamed for tabulation delays.....

When did the Tea Party ever become an official party that one could join, and become a member of Bob?

Also, I believe it is law that CONGRESS must pass a budget every year. How many budget plans have been passed by the House, and have been stopped by the Senate?
Google it!
When we go over the fiscal cliff in a few weeks, you can accept your party's blame for it.
Harry Reid, and his boss (Obama) have made a pact that they will refuse to look at any bills passed by the house ever since they lost the majority in the house back in 2010.
It's partisan politics from the left that got us into this mess.
Obama will pretty much be a lame duck president for the next four years.
No more wastefull spending on stimulus plans, and higher taxes on the middle class.

I've already said that Harry Reid made a mistake by not opening up every one of the House's budget bills to public debate, or to amend these bills to something that was less skewed to the radical right.

I don't consider any so-called budget as legit when it contains partisan attempts to REPEAL OBAMACARE, shove the Keystone Pipeline on the American people, destroys unions, defunds various agencies that the republican's buddies in big business hate, or any of a hundred other things the House has packed their budgets with.

At that point, Harry Reid was correct when he said they were DOA. His mistake was not proving it to the American people!

Maybe instead of claiming that they were DOA, the Senate could have looked at them, made changes, and sent them back to the House.
Thats how things used to work, bith sides look, make changes, and then eventually come up with a compromise.
It just isnt working that way anymore.
Ever since congress raised the debt ceiling back in August 2011, they knew that they needed to come up with a budget that would reduce the deficit.
Harry Reid, and the Senate have blocked every budget proposal to come from the House since then.
Since you say that Harry Reid was correct in blocking all of those budget proposals passed by the House, then I assume you will admit that the liberals in the Senate are the ones responsible for the "fiscal cliff" which is going to happen in just a few weeks?
We get it! YOU WON!!! blah blah,.... what really matters is what your party does.
Are you going to continue to blame Bush?
The time for that ran out long ago.
When the fiscal cliff comes in a few weeks, you can thank your party for their lack of action for it!

You are being a total fool. How large is the "tea party" Blue?? Provide PROOF for once, of how large the tea party actually is, and while you are at it, please tell us how many Democrats actually belong to the same Tea Party. You might surprise yourself if you did a little research and thought for yourself instead of parroting Huff Po, BBC and your favorite other sources. Still have your NYT subscription?
The point is this, Blue....the Tea Party is NOT large enough to filibuster, or block anything so all your whining about them is stupid.

Welllllll, you may want to a little more studying on that sequester thing.

Think about the debt ceiling - credit ratings - super committee. With a little effort you'll find that the fiscal cliff was about the only both parties would agree to, It was really kicking the can down the road seeing as how the parties couldn't agree on a real budget after that point. You may remember that Eric Cantor walked out on the committee with a little more effort.

Agreed!
Think about it!
Maybe you should ask Harry Reid about it?
Isn't it about time to stop with the blame game?
The "fiscal cliff" is upon us.
ALL of us are about to see massive tax increases, and spending cuts!
You can continue to blame Bush all you want to.
It just doesnt matter.
You just cant see that.
Good luck with your entitlements!
